IMHO, Kerry assumed at the very beginning that he was THE nominee. His arrogance wouldn't allow for any other scenario. That is really what is pissing him off. He figured he couldn't be beat with his war record and his money. LOL

Agreed. Kerry should have a nice cup of STFU. This "courageous" use of the F-word is a sign of desperation by Kerry, and I've no doubt it was preceded by some kind of poll or at least estimate of how many Americans use the F-word.
