December 6, 2003 -- Struggling 2004 Democratic wannabe John Kerry fires an X-rated attack at President Bush over Iraq and uses the f-word - highly unusual language for a presidential contender - in a stunning new interview with Rolling Stone magazine. Sen. Kerry (Mass.) used the undeleted expletive to express his frustration and anger over how the Iraq issue has hurt him because he voted for the war resolution while Democratic front-runner Howard Dean has soared by opposing it.

I originally thought Kerry had a lock on the Democratic nomination. I underestimated Dean.

As of now, Kerry looks like a loser.

HAHAHAHA!!!!!! Does me good to see the Demonicrats reduced to their base elements for all to see!

Kerry's method of appealing to kids is to cuss? HAHAHAHA!

John and Ken called Gray Davis "gumby" (he looks like Gumby)...

Kerry looks like a mortician or worse... What can we call him.......?

I don't want to start with my own personal suggestion... Too much respect for the true FReepers here...

You're right, FM.

Democrats and "Liberals" tend to be angry people. The anger tends to be free-floating and unfocused and probably results from some psychological dynamic that has nothing to do with anything they blame it on. They use this anger effectively by attributing it to some high-minded outrage, such as outrage at injustice or the way some other politician has handled a situation--something that has nothing to do with the real, basic cause of the anger.

They claim that their anger is fury at something that needs correction, whereas, in truth, they are just angry people looking for something to be angry about.

Some of them actually feign anger.

Sometimes they're angry because of a bad self-concept, which may be richly deserved. The pain of self-contempt is transmuted into anger, which is easier to accept than an admission of the conviction that one is in fact a miserable, contemptable wretch. In other words, the anger is misdirected self-contempt.

Sometimes it's as simple as, "I'm angry because I'm about to be defeated, but I'm going to claim to be angry because of the President's policies; at least then I won't look as silly as if I told the truth about why I'm so angry."

Don't you get tired of all this anger? Angry people get tiresome fast.

What you say is true, Jazzlite. Another truism, from Benjamin Netanyahu, is this: "There is no substitute for strategic and moral clarity." Kerry's words reveal how strategically and morally confused he is and how low into the sewer the Democrats have sunk.

Don't forget that just a few days ago Kerry trashed the supporting countries that sent small ground troops and support operations. He was moaning about how we put (as always) the majority of troops on the ground and that the UN would be better suited. What a maroon!!!!

I don't mind anger when it's appropriate. But as you excellantly pointed out, anger for anger sakes is stupid and destructive.

I'm angry we have high taxes, bureaucrats, don't close the Mexican border, etc. But my anger doesn't ignore the problem and ignore solutions like those that can't see beyond their ideology regardless of party.

Thanks for the post.

Yes, anger properly justified and properly directed is a good thing. The kind of anger these loosers have is sick.

When Kerry rode a motorcycle onstage on Leno he became silly. With his cussing, he's become an embarassment.
