That sort of stereotype is more than welcome on Long Island where many men aspire to bend one's leg and stuff it in their pocket. Personally, I find nothing appealing about it. I find it an insult, but if Coca Cola wants to be unimaginative not original, then by all means.

Even Yahoo's headline is insulting.

The film, "Mafia Movie Madness," by graduate student Jordan Ross . . . He should've directed it under the name Giordano Rossi. Then us touchy wops would've loved it like everyone else.

I saw this trailer and thought it hilarious. Whoever got offended should remember that we go to the movies to relax.

you never see an Italian-American character playing a crack scientist Yea, if only this guy could have played a crack scientist, he might have made something of himself.

Good. It was a stupid clip anyway. I had to endure it both times I watched Master and Commander--excellent movie by the way.

U.S. beverage giant Coca-Cola says it will stop showing a short film showing mafia toughs intimidating movie viewers after a barrage of complaints from Italian-American groups.Funny, they didn't seem so worried about this stereotype last year, when they were running those Vanilla Coke ads with that guy who looks like a young Joe Mantegna.

There is nothing balancing it -- you never see an Italian-American character playing a crack scientist ... Well, a chemist *cooker* in a crack labratory, maybe. Most of the top Heroin cookers are Frenchies from Marseilles, after all.
