A couple of years ago, my homosexual nephew (23) immediately turned a brief comment on male and female differences in spatial reasoning (proven by research) into a discussion based on race. I was surprised at the time, but this has been going on in "gay" circles for quite awhile. At this point, I am not sure it can be headed off, the illogic notwithstanding.
