So young. Not for them. The same could be said for the young men and women who died in the World Trade Center, and in the terrorist attacks in Israel. I do believe that those young men and women in Iraq know why they are serving, even if their parents do not...

Maybe when her kids enlisted in our all-volunteer military, Clinton was still President and Mrs. Valencia thought they'd just be handing out Care packages to orphans in Bosnia or building gay outreach centers in Haiti. It undoubtedly never occurred to her that soldiers would actually be called upon to fight and die in defense of the country.
