Our first reaction was, "Bring back the canines before we miss the 'Best in Show' award!" Then it occurred to me that we were witnessing it.
This was a public-relations extravaganza - a masterstroke on a slow news day for a nation with senses dulled from eating too much turkey.

I can't grasp why the president had to wait until Thanksgiving - and one day before Clinton's visit - to boost the morale of our beleaguered soldiers. It's all about Hillary!. It's always about Hillary!.
These guys whiiiine and complain that Bush has a "photo op", and then b!tch and moan that they don't get the "photo ops" they want.

Finally, I don't understand why the news media continue to play along with this dog-and-pony show. I just sent an email to Mr. Williams asking him to access Hilary's visit to Afghanistan and Iraq. I asked him did he think her visit was a "dog and pony show" too.

I don't understand why the president did not bother to speak with some of the ordinary Iraqis he sought to liberate.Yeh, he should have strolled down Main-Mustafa to the corner of Elm-Ali, and handed out American flags to all the kids.
He was there to see the troops, Williams. Oh well.

Finally, a liberal confessing to his sheer stupidity...now, if you could only shut up long enough for someone to explain to you!

I don't get why Bush has been loath to even mention the ever-mounting casualties in the six months since he declared an end to major combat operations in Iraq. I don`t understand why people re-elected a Mayor who smoked crack with a hooker when Washington D.C. was/is called "Murder Capital of the World".
1989-434 murders
1990-472 murders
1991-482 murders
1992-443 murders

Why don't you just say, "you do not understand", and leave it at that, Williams?

Michael Paul Williams (in the above picture) looks like he took a small caliber bullet in the middle of his forehead. That could explain alot.

The Democratic Party is in a hell of a pickle, wouldn't you say? They're so blind with rage at the Bushwhacking they've been taking at the hands of a real man that they won't see the sheer stupidity in trying to emulate him when they get the chance. Unfortunately, they have the television and newspaper media outlets to smooth the whole thing over and make any Democratic gestures of manhood seem original.

Great minds think alike (see post 9). She's lovely isn't she. She couldn't find any lamps to throw in Afghanistan when she found out about G.W.'s visit, but she was plenty pissed.
The woman has anger management issues. I think they originate from her parents. Reportedly, as a young child, they gave her a toaster and a radio for bath toys.

No, he doesn't understand much; does he? He certainly doesn't understand that Hitlery's trip was a photo op on one side, and an attempt to destroy morale of our troops on the other. Just her presence there would have been a drag on morale, but her comments made things even worse. It is bad enough the democrats are trying to destroy our will to finish the job over here, but to go over there and tell our troops that the public no longer supports them? Can you say treason?

I just e-mailed MPW. Told him how disgraceful his column was but did give him credit for admitting he "did not understand."

looks like he took a small caliber bullet in the middle of his forehead. That could explain alot. I know quite a few people who went to high school (Hermitage '75) with Mikey Williams.
According to them, he wasn't shot, but he was picked on by both black and white kids for being a skinny, pencil necked geek.
This may have given a complex or something.
