In the interim, do you honestly believe that capturing his bodyguards is a bad thing? What should we do - let them go?
One of these bodyguards may talk about where Saddam is and it's one more bad guy off the streets.

Exactly. This bodyguard was providing money and resources thereby inciting violence against our troops.
So now more of our soldiers lives have been saved.

I don't get why it is trumpeted. Big deal if we captured a bodyguard, if they don't know where Saddam is why is it trumpeted as a big story? Finding Saddam is a big story.
