US President George W Bush may be the darling of big business, but not necessarily of big business's children.
Which is why Jonathan Soros, the son of billionaire George Soros, has joined electronic pop star Moby in launching an internet competition for a TV commercial attacking Bush.
AFP reports that the contest, called Bush in 30 Seconds, is open to the general public and will be judged by a celebrity panel including actors Jack Black and Janeane Garafalo, REM frontman Michael Stipe and documentary film maker Michael Moore.
"Bush's policies have ransacked the environment, put our national security at risk, damaged our economy and redistributed wealth from the middle class to the very wealthiest Americans," says Eli Pariser of moveon.org, an online advocacy group that is helping to organise the competition.
"As the 2004 election nears, it's crucial that voters understand what President Bush's policies really mean for our country."
The winning commercial will be broadcast before Bush's January state of the union address.

"Bush's policies have ransacked the environment, put our national security at risk, damaged our economy and redistributed wealth from the middle class to the very wealthiest Americans," I guess I missed the part where the middle class was wealthy and now it's not....

Soros... Moby... Janeane Garafalo, REM frontman Michael Stipe and documentary film maker Michael Moore.
All of them practitioners of strained logic. I can't wait to see the winner's "product."

The left wing "celebrities", who are all very rich, take more from the middle class than they, incorrectly, claim Bush is doing.
Hypocrisy knows no bounds.
And I love the "ransacked the environment" BS. They claim, again with no facts or data, that in just three years and just because Bush won that the enviornment is now horrible. What a crock.
And "putting our national security at risk"? Another sick joke. The left puts us at risk because they define Bush as reckless for NOT fighting our enemies. They all think that if all the Islamic fanatics could just watch one of their enlightend films, we'd all be hugging and kissing and singing.
Idiots.
I guess Bill Clinton NEVER put our national security at risk by doing nothing to protect us for eight years. Yeah, that's the ticket.
Morons. I hope they all get taken for every dollar they get in Scientology schemes from charlatans that prey off their stupidity.

His Father is pouring millions into trying to defeat Bush.

Amoral, unethical, unfeeling, unknowing, uneducated, irresponsible children of the rich. The world of Caesar, Cicero, Jesus and Hitler. The more the world changes, the more it remains the same. What will you do with yours?

It must suck to be him...
His only accomplishment being spending daddy's money...
And he thinks people respect him when all they really want is to be closer to daddy's money...

The cockroaches are getting frantic.
Time to expose the cockroaches to the light of day.
Maybe bumper-stickers like:

Children of wealthy parents are often spoiled brats who don't appreciate the value of money and therefore spend other people's tax dollars wastefully, just like they spend Mommy and Daddy's money. Good examples are Democrat Senators Dayton (Minnesota) and Jay Rockefeller (Delaware).

Jonathan Soros, the son of billionaire George Soros... Like Father, like son... Yeah, like Albert Gore Sr and Albert Gore Jr. Or like the family whose clients the Gores have always been: Dr Armand Hammer & Son, Comintern and KGB agents. Very rich, very anti-American.

"Bush's policies have ransacked the environment, put our national security at risk, damaged our economy and redistributed wealth from the middle class to the very wealthiest Americans," says Eli Pariser of moveon.org, Everytime these lunatics, and the pundits are given airtime to spew their rhetoric, I wish the interviewer would ask just a few simple questions, like:
"HOW has Bush ruined the economy?"
"HOW has Bush put our national security at risk?"
"HOW has Bush damaged our economy?"
Hollow allegations with no substantive bases is all the left has.
To: nickcarraway
wonder id the DNC will whine about these unfair ads? Sock it to em RNC!! No mercy for the Dumocratic traitors!
