The latest on the Canadian forum I read has some excellent titles in their International News. This morning they are playing their favorite game of "Talking to Americans" which translates to how stupid American people are.

Then there is another thread extolling how the EU is going to trash the American economy, plus other sweel morsels to sooth the savage (ha) Canadian breast, or ignorant mind.

They are so riddled with U.S. envy, they don't make sense. I
can't believe these people are living so close to us. They are now passing Sharia law in Canada and we all know what that means especially for muslim women. Do you think Canadian law will prevail? Not on your life (or those who have their heads but off in a divorce proceeding). Canadians are now bona fide NUTS. Just think a rampant Muslim Nation practicins Sharia Law right on the border.

Envy is the second deadly sin. Most of what the Europeans believe about us is grounded in envy. Chaucer believed envy was the most important deadly sin since its aim was to destroy the envied object.

Most Americans’ forefathers simply left Europe and Britain/Ireland for a better life, rather than oppression. Some did, but not all.

Those bastards have fought since 1945 with America and Britain from Korea to Afghanistan. And on 9-11, those bastards opened their doors and hearts to many Americans trapped in Canada, sheltering Americans in their own homes, community centres, hotels put Americans up free of charge. There is a superb film called Diverted, you may wish to watch it.

I have no doubt that there are leftist anti-americans in Canada, but I know Canada and I know most Canadians like America and don’t deserve the attack you are giving them.

As a neutral observer (from a nation friendly to both), I don’t see Canada and Canadians as envious of America. Sorry I don’t. Neither socially or economically or in terms of global power. I have no doubt some Canadians don’t like you, but then so do some Scottish, Irish, Aussies, dosent mean you can say all of a people hold the same view. There are many pro-Americans in Canada, esp on the conservative right.
