Every single one of the people fired knew or should have know it was comming from the moment the recall was finished. It could not have been a surprise.

Another freeper expressed it thusly, "To crush the liberals, drive them before you, and to hear the lamentations of the media."

I suppose it's a litter better than the cleaning crew putting all your belongings in paper bags, tagging them with your name and placing them by the curb and then calling you to hurry and pick them up before there stolen.

Everybody who follows politics knows that all new administrations bring in their own people.

"This isn't the way you do anybody," Johannessen said of the way he was treated.

Shut the hell up you big pansy.  They can do it any way they want.

There are countries where the "transition team" would fire you with a bullet to the head.

Can you hear me now, Maurice 8-? .. CLIck! .. No MOJo No Mo' :-)

Maurice Johannessen had been targeted by fellow Republicans for a budget vote as a senator.

Sacramento Bee file

Johannessen, who was targeted for reprisals by Senate Republicans because he broke ranks and voted for Davis' budget when he was in the Senate, was so "ticked off" he drove right to his office, took everything that belonged to him, threw it in his car and went home to sleep.
