Republicans dropped provisions to allow drilling in an Alaska wildlife refuge, as recommended by Vice President Dick Cheney's 2001 task force. Don't tell me they are going to blame our continued dependance on foriegn oil on Key Lay....
Without Alaska this bill has no teeth, IMHO.

Isn't this the same MTBE that was mandated by the ENVIRONMENTAL PERSECUTION AGENCY to clean up auto emissions?
Could it possibly be that the EPA didn't fully test it, as they would have required of a private company?
