I was in McPeak's Air Force and most of us who were will tell you that the only thing he will be remembered for is multiple uniform changes - we went in a full circle with him because he couldn't get his decorator instincts tuned up. I doubt that his endorsement helped Bush or that the lack of endorsement will hurt...

Thank you for the info on him. I had no idea who he was. Now that you have enlightened me I can laugh at the endorsement along with you. Sounds like a loonie toon like I said he was.

I still resent him for the "new" Air Force blues that still makes us look like Delta pilots.
