BATON ROUGE - Louisiana is poised to make history today, either electing its first woman chief executive or its first non-white and the nation's first Indian-American governor.

Polls showed the race narrowing in the final hours as is usual in Louisiana's colorful political history, with the outcome perhaps dependent on who energizes their supporters to turn out while precincts are open from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m.

I heard the Dimbocrats have been playing the race card and potrayed Jindal, an INDIAN-AMERICAN, as an arab early in the election. No shame, no brain -- The Dimbocrats.

".... prediction of a 45 percent turnout...."

Yeah, but what about the turnout from the morgues and cemeteries? Surely it must be running well above 45%, particularly in Orleans, Plaquemines, Jefferson, East Baton Rouge and West Baton Rouge Parishes.

Now I imagine many a loyal Democrat, when challenged, has asked: "How can a dead person vote. Can he climb out of his grave and walk down to the polling place and cast a ballot? Surely this is Republican propaganda again."

Unfortuntely, it seems like the Dems always get a 2-3% fraud boost on election day in Louisiana.

Yea, Rodney, the LA Democrat party has an insurance policy on itself to prevent election losses.

Nothing easier than for a dead person to vote. Their spirit merely has to inhabit the body of a person who is not otherwise occupied for election day, cause that body to climb aboard a bus after being issued some kind of identification that certifies that the inhabited body is really the spirit, ride the bus to the polls, vote the spirit's conscience (why is the spirit ALWAYS Democrat), then depart the body, making room for the next spirit to inhabit the donor body, repeating the cycle as the bus moves to the next polling place. As many as a dozen spirits may vote through one body on any given election day.

Did you hear the old joke about the IN woman whose last wish was to be buried in Chicago so that she could "at least still vote" when dead!
