Rylander/Srayhorn (it's hard to keep up with her name changes) has no chance of beating Perry in the 2006 primary. Lots of Republicans will support him especially, because he held the Legislature's feet to the fire and called three special sessions to handle redisrticting. Republicans should gain up to six or seven House districts from this redistricting.

I hope she can't win -- but it seems she knows where the Socialist votes can be found. Did she mention where the money was going to come from for all the handouts to the border region and free college for everyone? How big does she want the Texas state income tax to be? Doesn't she realize how big the state budget deficit was?
