There has been a series of allegations and innuendos recently to the effect that government contracts for work in Iraq and Afghanistan are being awarded in an atmosphere redolent with the "stench of political favoritism and cronyism," to use the description in a report put out by the Center for Public Integrity on campaign contributions by companies doing work in those two countries.

After hearing this gentleman speak on Dennis Prager's radio show this morning, I wanted to pass this along to the rest of you (sorry if I'm being redundant and this has already been posted on the site).
The author is actually a registered Democrat, and he claims to have "no axe to grind" against the Bush administration.
Enjoy!

I also listened to the interview, and actually wanted to thank Kelman for being principled enough to debunk all of the media nonsense that's been swirlling around on Haliburton the past few weeks. Unfortunately, the segment was over before I had an opportunity.
...Sadly, because Kelman stood on principle and was actually coherent, he'll be black balled and shunned (by the hard Leftist cabal) like Bernard Goldberg and Zell Miller. Just for simply stating the facts on government contracting procedures.
