101^st recovers seven surface to air missile

MOSUL, IRAQ – The 101^st Airborne Division (Air Assault) recovered seven surface-to-air missiles Nov. 7

An Iraqi citizen turned in six SA-7s to 101st soldiers in Dahuk.

Soldiers of the 1st Brigade Combat Team near Qyarrah Airfield discovered the seventh SA-7 during a routine patrol. The round was found concealed in high grass, and was secured by the soldiers.

Citizens who turn in SA-7s and other weapons that could be used to harm Iraqi citizens and Coalition forces receive a monetary award.

101^st detains 7 in overnight cordons; weapons turned in

MOSUL, IRAQ  – A series of overnight cordon and knocks resulted in the detainment of seven individuals in the 101^st Airborne Division (Air Assault) area of operations.

Those detained were suspected in previous attacks on coalition forces, and of harboring weapons caches. A variety of weapons were also confiscated.

In a separate incident, an Iraqi citizen turned in a significant cache of weapons to the 101^st Division Main. The cache consisted of 333 grenades, 92 rocket propelled grenade rounds, and two RPG launchers.

Looks like the Iraqi people are beginning to understand, their safety and us leaving, depends on catching all these thugs and picking up all their "toys".

Come on folks, help us, we want our young men and women home but we won't leave until you are safe.

Bump! Our Iraqi allies have the same problem our troops have - the INTER-national mainstream press doesn't want to hear from those who support our efforts in Iraq....conveniently neglected to tell the world about the 300,000 + Iraqis murdered (PRE-WAR) by Saddam and pals (still terrorizing the suffering Iraqis today) buried in mass graves around the country.

Just cause - buried by the press ~ and our other partisan domestic enemies.
