The committee won't see another bit of intel. Intel sources don't want them to, nor does prez. The only ones who want the committee to see intel is the dem members of the committee.

Nope, they're done seeing anything.

However, it is indeed necessary to mete out appropriate punishment for those involved... what is appropriate? what is likely to happen?

On Imus this morning, Chris Dodd said that it was not helpful to be publicly airing an internal memo from the intelligence committee and that it was going to be resolved quietly over the upcoming holiday.

The witch hunt is on. Be interesting to see who's left standing.

The Senate Intelligence Committee is now invalid and must be shut down.

Taxpayers are not required to pay tax funds to be used for an opposing political party to take down a U.S. President.

These senators may find the need to do something if their whole committee will be deemed invalid and not fit to view intelligence data.

Confiscation of a top-secret bipartisan committee and diversion of goals to one of destroying a sitting president involved in directing a war. Therefore, they are aiding and abetting the enemy.

Abuse of taxpayer funds.

Planned dissemination of classified information to use to destroy a president. How can they use the data - if it is not leaked to the public - therefore, they are no longer a secure committee for American intelligence information.

I saw Chambliss on the news this am. He said that one of the significant points is that the members of the committee allow their staff to help review the information they receive.

So, this memo goes further to explain that the politics the democrats are playing, truly does affect not only the election, but the war.

Pubbies on the committee should suspend further meetings until Rockefeller comes clean and steps down.

I emailed Pat Roberts and George Allen advising them I'd just sent a donation to Bush-Cheney 04 but that I would not send another dime to the NRSC* until Senate Republicans start standing up for our country, our military and our president.

*(NRSC is the fund raising arm of the RNC for senate campaigns and Senator Allen is the chairman.)
