The media STILL carries the big stick and this memo will NEVER see the time of day!...bummer! :( This is not as true as it was even 5 years ago. I think that with talk radio, the internet, FNC and the activism of the individuals who make use of these media, we have a better chance of seeing it on CBSNBCABCCNNMSNBC - albeit with spin.
There was a chart up on some threads yesterday showing which media outlets had covered it, where (p. A27), and how spun.
I think the media, while still overwhelmingly controlled by leftists, is moving away from total control. I think that's part of the reason we have both houses of Congress. I also think that's why we're witnessing the end of the dem party as we know it.
Hey, I can hope!

Add the RNC in your emails. info@rnc.org. Tell them you are tired of contributing money to a spineless party full of wimps.
I have added this to my list to recite to the RNC telemarketers that call looking for my donations. (For the record, I contribute to individual candidates but not the RNC.)

Instead of confronting Democrats over what may be the most serious breach of national security since the Clinton administration allowed a Democratic Party donor to provide missile guidance technology to China, Republicans have urged further bipartisan cooperation with Rockefeller and his staff. Grow some freakin' BACKBONES, Republicans!!! >:-(

"this memo will NEVER see the time of day!"No, CNN has already tried to spin it, as has MSNBC. The Wall Street Journal is covering it, as is the Washington Times. Talk radio is all over it and the Internet is buzzing about it. Given time, US News and World Report will run it, as will USA Today.
In the meantime, ABC, CBS, NBC, NPR, TIME, Newsweek, and the NY Times simply have less chance to shape the direction that this scandal heads because they are so far trying to ignore it as if it will go away.
Let those media outlets be the last to the dance. The music is still playing, after all...

"...refuses to denounce the memo, which he says was unauthorized and written by staffers..."What an idiotically duplicitous statement: he's distancing himself (unauthorized and written by staffers) from a statement he refuses to denounce.
Are we just not supposed to notice this?

It's time the spineless republicans get their act together and make some heads roll. This is treason and those who commit treasonist acts should be punished. In the old days and public hanging would be in order, we need to bring out the noose!

Coudl you envision a scenario whereby FRoberts decides to step down from the committee...he's a good guy, a straight shooter...but he may not be up for the requisite infighting....don't mean to denigrate him..some have it, some dont'...who would take his place..the next in line, of could they jump in someone from outside...howabout Linsday Graham?

Ignored? It's in the Wall Street Journal.
This committee is invalid - is merely a witch hunt tool of the Democrat Party paid for by American taxpayers.
No security information to this committee until there is a valid committee. It is not valid when subversion is going on. The purpose of this committee is not to take down the President of the U.S.

On Imus this morning, Chris Dodd said that it was not helpful to be publicly airing an internal memo from the intelligence committee and that it was going to be resolved quietly over the upcoming holiday. Excuse me? Not helpful? Resolved? These people are jeopardizing our national security and they want it quietly to go away without dealing with the problem. These arrogant people can't stand the light shining on their nefarious activities! We need to keep this in mind next year at the polls.

800+ FBI files and blackmail will work wonders. On both parties.Nonsense
I wonder why Sen. Roberts doesn't reassert his authority over the committe though. Sen. Rockefeller should be censured, at the least, by the full Senate.
