It is clear that Hillary is the modern Catherine de' Medici of the Democrats, and that, like her adroit predecessor, she plays factions against one another to achieve personal ascendance. It is also clear that her ultimate goal is dominance over as many people as possible, by any means necessary.

What remains unclear are the details. I agree that this memo has her fingerprints all over it, and that we can expect much more such intrigue -- and many more bodies turning up in strange places -- as she seeks greater power.

For my part, I am still betting that she will stage a dramatic putsch at the Democratic convention in which she "rescues" the party from its dismal lineup of sure-to-lose presidential candidates and attempts to sweep to victory against Bush in the 2004 election on a wave of media hype and mass hysteria. Of course, she may bide her time, building more power for a sure thing in 2008 instead, but that would take more patience than even Hillary has, I suspect.

We'll see.

Frist better keep the Intel Com. shut down because the totally imcompetent Sen. Roberts, who chairs it, will wind up apologizing to Rockefeller and the other liberals on the panel for causing them bad publicity. No wonder the memo showed they have ZERO respect for him and consider him their butt boy.
