I was just channel surfing the network nightly newscasts. It seems that the RAT memo did not meet the cut. This was not news to them, but if this was a Republican memo, I can assure you that it would have not only led the newscast, but have led for a month. And Jennings & the lot wonder why we say they are biased. I absolutely despise them.

Liddy & Hill said that they were watching Rockefeller as he appeared on CNN. They described him as looking scared, stunned and shell-shocked!! It was their (Liddy & Hill) opinion that if it were a staffer who did this, Rocky would be angry and show it. This is quite telling.

I hate to say this, but the only honorable thing for Rockefeller to di at this time would be to resign. It would save bring further shame and scandal on him, his family name, and the state he represents. Yes, he must resign.

What someone may want to consider is what is not being discussed here... How did this memo get out? If it turns out that some political operative is hacking or digging through trash (i.e. spying), that could bring back the wrong type of memories of Republicans...
Very much like why Wal-Mart was targeted for the IRS sweep or the Mayor of Phillie was being "investigated"... What we don't want to happen is that we lose the high ground by being caught playing too far outside of the rules...
Play hard, but play fair...
Otherwise, we are no better than the KGB or anyone else that gets info on the opposition through less than honest means...
Now I think if the Democrats use intell unfairly, they will get beat down anyway... Lives are at stake... But let's make sure that when the fight is over, there is not a perception in part of this nation or outside of this nation that we cheated to get what we have...

As you probably know, Sean Hannity was given the memo. We don't from whom, but he is certainly not worried about 'unfair." Nor am I.
As evidenced by the memo, lib slimes never play fair.

Exactly.... I would just prefer that we keep a greater portion of the high ground which was gained after the antics of Bill Clinton...
And we all know that two wrongs do not make a right... Though I will say I am forgiving if lives are put in danger because of excessive political gamesmanship...

Didn't this memo get leaked by a democrat and not a republican? That is the impression I got yesterday from Sean Hannity. Admittedly, I have been off the reservation today Christmas shopping in preparation for a trip to Los Angeles to see my stepson and daughter in law, so haven't heard any new news!

In fact, I recall Sean saying that he received a copy of the memo from someone "we would never, ever guess would give it to Sean Hannity."
I read that as; 'not a republican' and believe Sean was trying to say exactly that, without saying so.

Well hello, you have chosen the same path for spin as all the liberal apologists I've seen on TV today, starting with Eleanor Clift early this morning. IE, "Let's talk about
how the memo surfaced, and not
what it says."
This is the same tactic as "Let's call Linda Tripp a bad friend, for tattling!"
But I have to tell, you gave yourself up with this:
"that could bring back the wrong type of memories of Republicans... "
LOL!
To: ladyinred
Your impression was exactly the same as mine.

All I am saying is that the raids can not appear selective... I seriously doubt if Wal-Mart is the only company with illegals... (undocumented workers to the PC crowd)...
And the greys did not kidnap your dog... That was the guys from some school that you won a football game against back in high school.. They feel that you committed a holding penalty and it was not called and they seek retribution... :-)

And where has the high ground got the GOP? You have to fight fire with fire and sleazy jerks like Rockefeller need to be treated harshly.
You can't play nice with uncivilized shills that want to destroy our country to maintain their power for their own personal gain.
