Is anyone listening to Hannity? He just read a memo from a dem party staffer (i think) on the select committe on intelligence (or some such), which, as he describes it, shows the the dem committe members are pre-planning a political assault on the pres. and care nothing for our security, which is their job.
He's acting like this is the hottest scoop since I don't know what, I'm at work so I'm only 1/2 listening, plus he read the whole thing which seemed to be a least 2 pages long, a little tough to follow being in beaurocrat-speak.
Is this really important? And will this story grow legs?

Well, I think that Seany is going to just keep pushing and pushing and PUSHING this, so maybe....
Will the general media even talk about this ? Nope, unless the stink rises to a higher level and we can help that along. :-)

God forgive me for how much I despise the Democratic Party.Me, too. I sometimes wish that the terrorist plane that landed in the field in Pennsylvania had actually made it all the way to the Capitol, hitting the Democrat side of the aisle.
I will go to confession on Saturday.

Well, glad you have some good news. In my district, many, many Pubbies have been elected. I hope this is good news. However, many of them are anti-law enforcement.....this is bad news. And I will not ever vote for a Rat again, as long as I live (except for the case of an incumbent judge, pubbie or not, if he/she has proven him/herself to be bad, and I know the opposing judge, rat or pubbie, is conservative...there are some of those who are like Sauls from Florida who would not go along with the Goreites.)
I'm off to bed now. Hope you have a good rest of the evening, Mo1. : )

The Ballad of Senator Pat and the Rats
(Sung to the tune of Beverly Hillbillies)
Listen to the story of Senator Pat
He really thought that he could please a Rat.
Then one day he said, "No more"
And the Rat knew he had made a score.
(Here's the prize,
the one he doesn't want me to touch.
Now I've got 'em!)
Pat's friends on Freerepublic tried to mail 'im,
His friend Sean Hannity also weighed in,
Even Colmes who was on the other s i d e,
Couldn't make him see the Rats weren't bonafide.
"I'll build bridges," he said.
If it's good enough for a bridge, then the Rat is wise.
Their secret is to find, where you will not compromise,
Then they'll have the Smoking Gun for all to see!
And you will be their Pa-a-a-atsy!
Their FOOL, that is.

Rand sucks and obviously, you're rather young, dear, so maybe, in time, you'll grow up.

You're investigating is great, MO, and many thanks for the info you've posted. It makes it quite clear, that the Dems are violating a number of rules and MUST be called on it. The Ethics Committee is , after all, in place to handle just such occurrences.
To: Maelstrom
"They're violating 9.6" I'm sure they can get the Ninth Court of Appeals to rule it unconstitutional. Dems don't have to play by the rules, they are the rules.

"The demoncrats are experts at convincing the republicans to shoot themselves in the heads."
The article said Sen. Roberts "agreed to look into the activities of..." He wouldn't open any formal investigations unless he thought one was necessary. I've met him on a few occasions, and voted for him every time I had the opportunity. He's incredibly intelligent, and very conservative. He also struck me as being honest.
He won't shoot himself or the Republicans in the head, unless they deserve a firing squad.

We are talking about our Nations National Security ..

Guess the DUmmies haven't heard about this yet. They're still celebrating winning some mayors race and a few dog catching positions. LOL

We simply can NOT allow this to just melt away. Seany is NOT going to let this thing go and neither should we. It's snail mail and phone time! E-mails are ignored.
National security tops partisanship; though, truth be told, the Dems refuse to see it that way. Fine...then it's up to US to go into action. Just spewing, on this forum, does absoluetly NO good; take pen in hand and write to the Senators...ALL of them !
To: TaxRelief
So it would seem. And a belated welcome to FR. :-)
