That's just it. As far as I know Rand NEVER said any of these things directly but her GROUPIES do for some reason.
Perhaps because many of them are former liberals and socialists that realized that socialism doesn't work and therefore are trying to wrap their moral relativism into a capitalistic framework using Rands atheistic "Objectivism" as their model.

"He went on Larry King and told the world he only had one child."

Well, not exactly. Larry King only asked him if he had A child and he admitted he did. He didn't volunteer that he had one or more besides. At that point, I believe the second one of his children with Jodi had been born.

Well we all need to email Larry BEFORE the interveiw with the Schindlers and make this point!! One child born DURING their marriage, before Terri's " accident" and two since!!!!! POUR THEM EMAILS in to LK!!!!

We really can't use the one before Terri was hurt unless and until we can confirm it. That would only hurt our credibility. But we can certainly let him know of the second one.

She knows I'm safe.....she's got me wrapped big time.

Now...if I start secretly mailing those kind of offers with hotel reservations and flight arrival times....she might get concerned. But if that happened she's already got permission to shoot me.....:-)

"Do you think this child was born in Florida or Penn.?"

No idea. I only mentioned Pennsylvania as a possibility since they were from there and did take trips back there. And because everyone had been focusing their attention on Florida. Don't know.

Looks like the euthansiacs are trying a different ploy to rally support for killing Terri. While there are clear similarities in the utter disregard of life in both issues, we need to counter this attack swiftly and put it in proper perspective. They already have the ACLU. Now they're going for the support of the NOW nazis. (Can you say "contemptible hypocrites?" I knew you could.)

Same here Cindy. They sure as heck don't represent me. I do know of one woman who thinks the feminist movement has been good for women, but she doesn't take me on any more. Can't imagine why.

I asked about divorce when I was at the vigil (meaning Michael and Terri); was told that in that diocese, an annulment could probably be obtained from a vending machine. fwiw.

lol. I couldn't open my e-mail on aol while I was gone. I was re-reading today regarding a response from AARP that they would have to take a poll of their members and could take up to a year to decide if they wanted to get involved here or not. I had wrote back and told them after I heard that they weren't taking a stand anytime soon, that I was now hearing rumors they were thinking about it. I reminded the sender of what she had sent me and requested they not get into this if they were not able to support Terri receiving food and water. I received a short note back that they had not taken a stand.

That's probably true, but only applies if they want to be married in the catholic church, or practice the catholic faith.

MS'actions wherein he allegedly removed religious articles (somewhere I read somebody got something blessed by the pope and put it by Terri and it was removed), as well as not allowing Terri to receive communion demonstrate that he may be hostile to catholicism; he was raised Lutheran, and it isn't known if he converted. His girlfriend has an Italian name which would make me tend to believe she is at least nominally catholic, but not necessarily so.

I got this in my email and I found it inspiring. I thought y'all might like it. This is a true story.

"You are My Sunshine, My only Sunshine"

Like any good mother, when Karen found out that another baby was on the way, she did what she could to help her 3-year-old son, Michael, prepare for a new sibling. They found out that the new baby was going be a girl, and day after day, night after night, Michael sang to his sister in mommy's tummy. He was building a bond of love with his little sister before he even met her.

The pregnancy progressed normally for Karen, an active member of the Panther Creek United Methodist Church in Morristown, Tennessee. In time, the labor pains came. Soon it was every five minutes, every three, every minute. But serious complications arose during delivery and Karen found herself in hours of labor. Would a C-section be required?

Finally, after a long struggle, Michael's little sister was born. But she was in very serious condition. With a siren howling in the night, the ambulance rushed the infant to the neonatal intensive care unit at St. Mary's Hospital, Knoxville, Tennessee. The days inched by. The little girl got worse. The pediatrician had to tell the parents there is very little hope. Be prepared for the worst.

Karen and her husband contacted a local cemetery about a burial plot. They had fixed up a special room in their house for their new baby! but now they found themselves having to plan for a funeral. Michael, however, kept begging his parents to let him see his sister. I want to sing to her, he kept saying.

Week two in intensive care looked as if a funeral would come before the week was over. Michael kept nagging about singing to his sister, but kids are never allowed in Intensive Care. Karen decided to take Michael whether they liked it or not. If he didn't see his sister right then, he may never see her alive. She dressed him in an oversized scrub suit and marched him into ICU. He looked like a walking laundry basket. The head nurse recognized him as a child and bellowed, "Get that kid out of here now. No children are allowed." The mother rose up strong in Karen, and the usually mild-mannered lady glared steel-eyed right into the head nurse's face, her lips a firm line. "He is not leaving until he sings to his sister" she stated.

Then Karen towed Michael to his sister's bedside. He gazed at the tiny infant losing the battle to live. After a moment, he began to sing. In the pure-hearted voice of a 3-year-old, Michael sang: "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are grey." Instantly the baby girl seemed to respond. The pulse rate began to calm down and become steady. "Keep on singing, Michael," encouraged Karen with tears in her eyes. "You never know, dear, how much I love you, please don't take my sunshine away."

As Michael sang to his sister, the baby's ragged, strained breathing became as smooth as a kitten's purr. "Keep on singing, sweetheart." "The other night, dear, as I lay sleeping, I dreamed I held you in my arms". Michael's little sister began to relax as rest, healing rest, seemed to sweep over her. "Keep on singing, Michael." Tears had now conquered the face of the bossy head nurse. Karen glowed. "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. Please don't take my sunshine away...."

The next, day...the very next day...the little girl was well enough to go home.

Woman! 's Day Magazine called it The Miracle of a Brother's Song. The medical staff just called it a miracle. Karen called it a miracle of God's love.

NEVER GIVE UP ON THE PEOPLE YOU LOVE. LOVE IS SO INCREDIBLY POWERFUL.

You do realize that NOW, AARP and PTA are well-known "subcommittees" of the Democratic party? (NOW is small and insignificant, while the other two are huge and have duped members.)

(Judge Greer, George Felos, Michael Schiavo, Jody the slut etc.) I don't think I have EVER seen such a collection of spiritually dead people

On the contrary, they are saturated with spirit of the very darkest or reddest hue.

We were considering a number of possible scenarios to explain why he didn't just move on with a new life (hiding physical evidence is always reason #1 mentioned). Our understanding was that it was SO important to the girlfriend to be married in the Catholic church. (shhh, no comment on the hypocrisy. . .). And SO important that an annulment wasn't acceptable (that's when the 'vending machine' comment was made). But yet killing is! A stark realization that sobered us -- straining the gnat & swallowing the camel, KILLING a person.

I was given to understand that Michael converted, though don't know for sure. The removal of religious articles and flowers is pure meanness & power plays (as is so much else in this horrid story), possibly more.

The refusal to allow Terri to take last rites, which happened the Sat. I was there, was by lawyer (Bushnell, I believe) for the strict "nothing by mouth" -- and yes it does say a lot about their overall attitudes toward religion and respecting Terri's wishes.

Their hostility is toward life and everything sacred, not just everything catholic (imo). My prayers are for their hearts and minds to be changed -- stranger things have happened, and God is able.
