Don't have to. Hit the link at the top of the thread and it takes you to the whole series. This was written about 2 1/2 years ago. I have a hard copy of the entire thing printed, pics, charts, and all. I would guess it's about 75 pages.

I am disappointed that someone is not blaming the wackos for the part they played in the large fires in California.

The Sierra Club believes that it's better to claim that the forest is better served to burn in the event of a fire. Based on the wacko enviromental policies that they forced into cali law by the wackos the fires spread and were tens of times larger then if common sense would have prevailed. In an ironic twist, species protection, no clearing out of exotic and predatory species of plants that choke the ground, state land grabs, etc..., are the root cause of the fire and the cause of the massive air pollution that is currently choking the life out of cali citizens.

In another twist, before the fires you couldn't legally light a grill in a host of cities in cali, because of the pollution that enjoying a steak causes. Good thing this law is in place or the air in California might be substandard.

I've said it for over 20 years, it is all about the money. I know these people, they're all college graduates they wrote grant applications and made up jobs for themselves from thin air, they got involved in the enviromental aspect and asked for donations and now most of them live large off the land while depriving taxpaying people of the use of our natural resources. They convince themselves that they care about their causes but if you took away the money, all but a few hard-core Earth-firsters would be out of there in a second.

I remember the original posting of this project, is there any resource available with updated figures?

CEO salaries have been increasing by an average of 20% for the past two years in the private sector while labor wages have stagnated. Is there reason to believe the NGO's have been following this trend?

This looks to me like there's some self-destruction going on in the environmental movement, of the same type going on in the democratic party. They're turning on each other. This article does not recognize that even all the money they say is spent "on the environment" is actually spent getting more land under government control. The elitists in charge of these organizations, who favor high salaries, great offices and spectacular parties for themselves, essentially want control of our lives, through control of resources (ie land).

I'm glad the author mentions that much of their fund-raising rhetoric is untrue; I wish he'd separated that 'flood of donations' into those from individuals, corporations and foundations. It's my understanding that donations from small donors to these kinds of groups have DROPPED dramatically, but foundations are lavishing money on environmental groups. Those groups are then, because of the grants, pursuing programs that meet the goals of the foundations - primarily more central control of us to build their utopian new world.

Anyway, the more dissent in the environmental movement, the better for our individual rights!
