U.S. Senate targets Malaysia over Mahathir comments

WASHINGTON - The U.S. Senate on Monday placed restrictions on some U.S. aid to Malaysia to show its displeasure over Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad's recent assertions that Jews control the world by proxy.

The Senate unanimously agreed to condition $1.2 million in military training assistance to Malaysia on a determination by U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell that the country supports and promotes religious freedom, including for Jews.

The provision was added to an $18 billion foreign aid spending bill, which the Senate is expected to approve this week. While the amount of aid at stake is not large, the move should send a message to Malaysia's government, aides said.

Mahathir, who steps down as Malaysia's prime minister at the end of the month after 22 years in power, provoked a storm of international criticism after telling a Muslim conference earlier this month: "The Europeans killed 6 million Jews out of 12 million. But today, the Jews rule this world by proxy."

Sen. Mitch McConnell, a Kentucky Republican, asked: "What could be more outrageous in 2003 for the prime minister of any country to make such unbelievably erroneous statements? They are dangerously wrong and they play directly into the hands of radical Islamic extremists throughout the region."

The House of Representatives passed its version of the foreign aid spending bill in July, so it does not contain any aid restriction. The two bills will have to be reconciled.

Mahathir has remained defiant, saying the controversy was being fanned by Jewish-owned newspapers that "have a powerful influence over the thinking of many people."

McConnell said: "Mahathir himself has influence over the thinking of many people. My advice is that, in future, he should think before he speaks."

Why would any right minded individual, including the President and State Department, want to give a population, of whom 80% think suicide bombing is just fine, their own nation? They should be told, frankly, no stop to the murder terror? No nation!!!

I think the nation of Israel often has too much patience with these murderers and their supporters. Would the USA ever go as long putting up with murderers and their supporters?

It is a LIE of the Arabs and "Islamics" that "Palestinians" were either the indigenous owners of that land or the proper owners of it now. If for some reason the American Indians were exiled for a long time and then came back to claim what belonged to them could anyone honestly say they were "occupying" the land? This is exactly what these liars have convinced naive people of.

Do you know what Jordan was used to be called? East Palestine; make Jordan, Saudi Arabia and other Arab and "Islamics" take and make citizens of this wretched, murderous people!

Why do the "Islamics" get to have a bunch of Islam only or Islam majority nations (incoluding to the point of exiling or totally excluding all others) and the Jews not get to have even one that, in truth, was THEIR ancient nation along with the rest of the Israelites. The Jews should be allowed their own naiton, if that's what they wish, even if some Edomites got, anciently, intermingled with them? The Arabs STOLE that nation and if they honestly studied history they would know that; they deliberately avoid and lie against the truth. The mosque in Jerusalem could not possibly be the last mosque as it did NOT even exist at the time the Qu'ran was amalgamated. These Arabs co-opted the prophets of the Hebrews and Christians and now arrogantly lie and say they were all "Muslims". I don't "respect" lies nor do I or will I "respect" "the religion of peace" especially since to this minute they continue to MURDER Christians and Jews the whole world over. Yes, there are some adherents of the religion who are peaceful. Unfortunately, even a minority of warring Muslims is too damn many.

If adherents of the "religion of peace" attack this nation again, en masse, the free nations should make Mecca nothing but a huge crater so that the terror loving among the Saud family won't confiscate the money of the "religious" among the "Islamic", i.e. Muslims any more.

The adherents ask for "respect" yet give extremely little to any other religion especially Jews whom they have been warring with for centuries.

Arab and Muslim rulers use the Jews largely to distract their citizens from what is going on within their own nations, in my opinion.

If the Saud's don't straighten up and 'toe the line' the UN should declare it an illegal nation (after all they DID steal the country less than a hundred years ago) along with the Wahabists, occupy the damn place and TAKE the oil. The UN should then . thoroughly work to remove the brainwashing of the citizens and open the place up allowing both Christians and Jews to live there again.

Buying into "Islam is holy" routine crap) is dangerous for all free nations.

Our military was asked not to eat, drink or smoke so the Islamics in Iraq would not be "offended. I think outside of Iraq a whole lot more "offending" needs to be done among this wayward people. That religion was founded by a notorious Pan Arabist originally named "Kotan" by his birth mother. He found out all about Judaism from his rich Jewish wife, about Christianity from the Coptics, other heretical Christians and in depth by a certain Nestorian Monk. This so called "prophet" MADE UP, in toto, the religion from those formerly listed, ancient Arab pagan ritual and culture and Zoroasterism. The last two verses of the Qu'ran (Koran) used to reference the goddesses the pagan Arabs used to worship. Surprise, surprise, surprise, the chief gods name was Al Lat! This "Allah", oak tree god, Al Lat, is NOT the same God either Jews OR Christians worship.

While I'm spewing my rage, we should say the heck, for now, about the opinion of the "ordinary" Iraqi and allow our military to go full force against the former Bathists and any others who are attacking and murdering our military forces within in Iraq. If we find any nation state supporting these murderers we should harshly penalize them and so should the other members of the almost useless and outrageously expensive UN.

It's a fact that terrorists have found ways to skim off funds from the UN. It's an abomination without accountability.
