At some point in history, somebody busted their ass to make the fortunes these kids spend on champagne and designer handbags. Some of the uber-materialistic crap being peddled on MTV these days (see "Rich Kids" and "Newlyweds"). I don't begrudge people for having what most of us want--that being the freedom to do what we want. Leave envy to the leftists. Hope these people realize they can't take it with them.

If you ever watch "Newlyweds" (sorry to admit I have), MTV slyly makes fun of Jessica Simpson and have a feeling they will do the same with "Rich Kids".
