PINELLAS PARK, Fla. - (KRT) - Michael Schiavo is in hiding, concerned over threats to his life, his attorney said Thursday. Yet the attorney for the parents of Schiavo's wife, Terri, the brain-damaged woman at the center of a contentious end-of-life case, says Michael Schiavo was seen shopping at an upscale Tampa mall in recent days.
As an advocacy agency continued its state investigation of Terri Schiavo's case Thursday and her parents resumed their vigil outside the hospice near St. Petersburg where she was receiving nutrition through a feeding tube, questions multiplied about Michael Schiavo's role and motivations.

Michael Schiavo is a RESPIRATORY THERAPIST, and when his wife "collapsed" he DID NOT PERFORM CPR?!
He dated and moved in with another woman, starting a family with her. Why will he not divorce Teri.
He will not allow a priest to visit, nor give Teri communion. If he really wanted her wishes followed, he would allow Teri, a life long Catholic to recieve the host!
The state of Florida needs to be sued for allowing him to be her "guardian".

"He doesn't want this to be public; he wants it to be private." Evil hates the light. Evil desires to corrupt in private, then the final destruction of the corrupted one comes in public. Michael is in a very dangerous place, spiritually. He is on the verge of 'non-refundability'. Michael has been abusing Terri for years, and now he wants the evil which grips him to remain hidden. He knows that's an idiot expectation because this is already very public, his evil abuse of Terri is already public. What he fears is that the full truth will come out and he will be incarcerated or worse. Scurry for cover, Michael cockroach, your evil facade is slowly being peeled ,and you will be naked soon.

"It's been very difficult for him to understand and accept that he has got to publicize his situation," attorney Deborah Bushnell said. "He doesn't want this to be public; he wants it to be private." Of course he wants it kept private, because he doesn't want his own selfish motives further publicized.
John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

Virtually all the information about Michael has been via Terri's parents, who have their own reasons for painting him in the ugliest colors. It may yet turn out that his side of the story is different and persuasive.
Does someone remember another case, I think in Staten Island about ten years ago, when the doctors for a comatose pregnant woman recommended that her pregnancy be aborted to ease her medical situation. Her husband was willing to permit the abortion but a lot of Lifers got into the act, even launching lawsuits against him and trying to get the court to appoint a guardian for the fetus, and generally willing to put the life of a woman they had never met at further risk for their own agenda. After a short detour, the court rejected their attempts to interfere, the abortion was performed, and then the woman came out of the coma! After that the husband talked about suing the people who had delayed the abortion with their own futile lawsuits.

He was "seen shopping at an upscale tampa mall"...Hmm..wonder if that terrorist orginazation the
ACLU, gave him some loot . I know that once the ACLU, a bonafide enemy of the US and it`s citizens, gets a chance to murder those citizens, they will stop at nothing to do so.

Well, you are tilting at windmills again, for the case has no similarities!
Lets stay on the subject of Teri Schiavo instead of rehashing an old abortion case.
Why doesn't Schiavo tell his side of the story? Why don't cameras go into the room of Teri while a doctor is doing a neurological exam? Why can't the priest visit Teri? Why doesn't Michael divorce his wife, so that he can move on.
We all would love to hear his side of the story. We would like it on Camera...we would like to see the transcripts of his statements in his "malpractice" lawsuit, and know why he has changed his mind...
Why don't you provide that, DQ?

Isn't it iteresting that the "right to privacy" is always invoked to defend some selfish, abominable behavior? It is never used to defend something noble or good.
Aside from the obvious application to abortion, I remember over a decade ago when a young man in Washington State needed an organ transplant to save his life. Several people signed up to be tested as potential donors. One woman matched. She refused to offer her [kidney, bone marrow, whatever it was], even though she had signed up. The liberal Seattle media kept talking about her right to privacy, and made little mention of the fact that a man's life lay in the balance.

what's your point? Is this a threat?
To: tuckrdout
palpatine threatened everyone so they would stop telling the truth about Terri's nasty guardian
his post is drivel and has no legal authority
my post is actual case law and counters his assertions that we all need to keep mum about the murderous ways of guardians who kill their charges
far from being a threat, I am trying to dispel fear about calling a spade a spade here at FR

From the article by BY MICHAEL MARTINEZ AND PATRICK KAMPERT
"Schindler said a bone scan taken a year after his sister's mysterious collapse 13 years ago recently surfaced; it shows a history of trauma, including broken bones. Schindler lived in the same St. Petersburg apartment complex as his sister and brother-in-law in 1990. He says Michael Schiavo knew CPR but did not perform it the night Terri collapsed and was deprived of oxygen for 10 minutes. Schindler said his family and their doctors suspect Terri Schiavo was beaten and suffered brain damage."
The truth about this case is being hidden, edited and withheld! The only voice that is allowed to be heard, is Felos.
Why are they so afraid to let anyone else speak?

Thank you for clarifying this!

"
Though her family has no access to Terri's medical records..." Why doesn't the "caring" husband give her medical records over to the family? Because they show a case for abuse, perhaps? Like the smuggled out bone scan?! This is why the family is not allowed access to them! What possible other reason could there be?
If Michael Schiavo is right about his wife's condition, then the medical records could only help to convince his inlaws!
Again, if Schiavo really, really cared about his wife's wishes, why doesn't he allow the priest to give his wife the host? If he is such a good Catholic that he doesn't want to divorce; why commit adultry? Didn't he vow to "forsake all others"....and keep only unto Teri in "sickness and health"... If he is such a good Catholic he would allow Teri's wishes to continue to have communion...especially on her death bed!
He has proven himself as a person who does not care one bit about his wife's wishes! He is not a good guardian, when he did not perform CPR on his wife, and he is a respiratory therapist!!!
To: tuckrdout
There is just too much proof that he is out to kill his wife and has never expended time, or money, on making her life easier, happier, or healthier. Why?

Wasn't this investigated? I saw a scan of an official-looking medical report, dated March 1991, stating evidence of trauma. It said the bone fractures could have resulted from a rare bone condition, but given the circumstantial evidence this is unlikely.
If a new guardian is appointed, even if only ad litum, he needs to release the medial records and the Schindlers ought to pursue criminal prosecution against their son-in-law for spousal abuse.
I wish there were more concerned citizens could do besides vent frustration at this outrageous travesty of justice: the victim suffers capital punisment while the perp skips blithely away.

I can't imagine anything that could paint a man who is attempting to murder his wife as anything but a murderer. And just supposing that this woman had not had the abortion, had the baby and came out of the coma, would you have said the Right to Lifers had done the right thing? No you would have said, but we could have killed the baby because the doctors said it was for medical reasons. The woman's life was not more important than the childs.

" . . . doctors suspect Terri Schiavo was beaten and suffered brain damage." Do you have a url to the doctor's statement or testimony? Time for "Larry King Live" to present 'fair and balanced' interviews. Or for someone to make sure he knows these details before he interviews the legal guardian Monday.

If I were writing a mystery novel, this would be the perfect plot. A man and woman decide to get rich quick, and the man selects a nice, quiet, unassuming young woman, courts her, marries her, and kills her for the insurance money. Only she won't die. So he then sues for malpractice, and wins, and employs a pro-death attorney (who just happens to sit on the board of a certain nursing home) to finish the job.
I would fluff up the details -- like, maybe the female accomplice has access to digitalis, or knows how to distill it from Foxglove plants (adds a nice, earthy touch, don't ya think?), and gives it to the male accomplice to inject into the victim in order to bring on a heart attack. Maybe the victim fights back, and the male accomplice has to knock her out before injecting the drug.
I need to quit watching CSI.

So, an innocent baby was murdered... And the justification is...?
I don't get it.
when should murder be legal? What did that baby do, that made him or her deserve to be killed?
Couldn't they have allowed the pregnancy to come to term, then operate on the woman?
