I respectfully disagree with the pulling of this thread from the sidebar. This is the coming weekend and the news and thread should not be lost in the mix. This was one of our best Freepers.

Been thinking of her quite often since I learned of her passing last night. Even woke up at 4:00am for some reason thinking about her (not implying she came to 'visit' me by any means, lest anyone misunderstand).

She's with the Lord now - happy, at peace - exceedingly glad she believed on the Lord Jesus Christ during her life here.

Isn't it amazing that through FR we can get to know someone completely in another state and grow to love them although we never saw them in person?

I think of Lynne so very often. One of my favorite freepers. So wish I could have met her in person.

I met Lynne once. At the Inaugeral ball. Sweet lady, lotsa poise.

The VERY first person I called when I got to Georgia was Lynne.

I'm saddened to hear that this happened - LBGA was one of the great Freepers. With work we'll find better treatments for more kinds of cancers, and I'll look into the foundation she wanted supported.

A respectful comment: Could the title of this thread be modified to include Lynne's name, or spell out "Rest in peace"? It might be a little more graceful than seven letters of acronym. Just a thought.

Does someone have a picture of her to put up? It always hurts when one of our Freeper Family leaves us. The village becomes a lonelier place. LBGA held a special place in our network and she will be missed. May God welcome her into her heavenly home and give her the rest she deserves.

We exchanged messages after 9/11 also since her son is in the service.
I will miss her but find some comfort in the fact that she has gone Home.
