Political party activists can no longer deliver stacks of completed absentee ballots to the Allegheny County Elections Division, under an order from the county Elections Board chairman.

To comply with state law, Board Chairman James McGregor is forcing absentee voters to either mail their ballots or deliver them personally to the Elections Division.

But the solicitor for the county Republican Party informed the Elections Board of a state law that bans the practice.

Think about that for a second.

Why did the Republicans need to inform the state board that it was allowing an ILLEGAL practice pertaining to the handling of absentee ballots?

The Dems have no respect for the law, none.

And since someone has apparently been breaking the law...can we expect to see charges filed?

The division will not accept a walk-in delivery of an absentee ballot from anyone but the voter.

What a novel idea. Hope it catches on everywhere.

This just means that the County Democrat Party will have a much higher postage bill this year.

If I remember correctly, during the 2000 election debacle in Florida, it was reported that Central Florida DIMOCRAT absentee ballots were mailed back to Democrat HQ in Orange County, while Republican ballots were mailed back to the supervisor of elections.

This didn't get much play but I'm sure it could be easily confirmed.

Now tell me that this isn't open to vote fraud.
