Terri snatched from hospital
worldnetdaily.com ^ | October 23, 2003 | Sarah Foster

Attorney Patricia Anderson's greatest fear was realized yesterday when she learned that Michael Schiavo had removed his wife Terri Schindler-Schiavo from Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Fla., where she was taken to have her feeding tube reinstalled, and returned clandestinely to the Woodside Facility of the Hospice of the Florida Sun Coast in Pinellas Park where she has been a patient for over three years.

Under the law, Terri was SUPPOSED to have an independent ad litum(sp?) guardian assigned. It appears that the judge (the same one who signed her death warrant) is slow walking the law so that her "husband" has every opportunity to kill Terri first.

A sad tragedy and great injustice going on here. Makes me feel outraged what Michael Schiavo is doing. Hell will be so full and crowded by the lawyers but I'm quite sure enough room will be made for Michael Schiavo and the Judge.

Bush and the FL legislature have no business crafting a law specifically for one person like this. Over a dozen court rulings have favored the husband and the legislature seeks to override the laws of Florida. How would anyone here like it if the governor of your state deciede through a special law to become the guardian over someone you love or even yourself! This is wrong and the courts will overturn this law.

So, you'd place mans law above Gods law? Is that what I see in your comment!? What a shame!

Regardless of one's views on the right to life/death issue, the fact is that there should never be a law customized for one person. Bush made the law explicitly for Terri's case. He did not do anything to correct ambiguities in the existing laws. THe whole thin is a waste of the legislatures time and tax dollars. As Florida law now stands, her husband is the one who decides her fate based on intimate conversations he had with her. Even Terri's parents admit Terri never claimed any different. Every time it has gone to court, Terri's husband prevailed. What Bush has done has forced the government into private lives. WHat would you do if the government decided it knew what was best for you and took away all of your rights, but didn't for anyone else?

This woman is already gone. Let her body go.

Is it God's law to pump food into a vegetative person? Heaven seems a better place for Terri than being trapped in that body with that crippled mind. Which would you prefer, in her place?

As I understand it, only one judge ruled on the truth of two items: she told her husband she wanted no extreme medical measures, tube feeding is an extreme medical measure. No higher judge can change the facts determined by the first judge only whether he used proper procedures to find the facts and applied relevant law.

So every higher judge may have disagreed with the first judge's facts, but could not investigate them or reverse the finding.

But a large segment of the public believe the first judge is prejudiced, either by personal concerns or by payoff, becasue they see with their own eyes what the first judge ruled was false: the husband is lying and tube feeding is not extreme.

The legislature sets policy for the state taking the will of the people into account.

So what is to stop a corrupt judge (George Greer - ptooey! - as a case in point) with obvious conflict of interest and dubious rulings from going unchallenged? This is outrageous and needs further investigation. Does the legislature have the power to change this absurd juducial protocol? They certainly have the DUTY to do so, as the representatives of the people.

No she is not. The docs lied regarding PVS. She is aware and conscious.

Then why didn't Bush and the legislature craft a law that would cover any case like Terri's and not just hers alone? THe government has no business hastily crafting a law for one person. The democrats have never tried to be as intrusive into private affairs as Bush and the FL legislature have in this case. On the other had, Bush may be doing this to score political points knowing full well that the alw will be thrown out.

Please act locally and globally to save Terri now.
For global distribution.

Michael Schiavo is still keeping Terri hostage and keeping her
family from being able to see her. Now he took her out of the
hospital and back to the hospice. Whatever sick courts are involved
in this matter have decided that Michael/Felos and Terri's family
have to agree on a Guardian Ad Litem within 5 days. Apparently the
person that is being suggested by the courts is pro-death. Can you
tell me how corrupt this is? Not only is the court suggested a
pro-death advocate as Guardian Ad Litem but Michael wants Terri
dead and the courts are giving him a say in picking a Guardian Ad
Litem!??? This suggested Guardian Ad Litem was just on the evening
news stating negative things about Terri's Law. This has more than
the appearance of a conflict of interest. Jeb, these death dealers
are making a mockery of our State of Florida. Why aren't your
providing Terri with the protection she needs to keep
Michael/Felos, etc. from interfering with her recovery? They are
playing the same game as if Terri was a yo-yo or chattel which they
can just do as they please with. This is so ridiculous it certainly
isn't funny. If you really are on the side of those who love Terri
you will put a stop to this madness and do everything in your power
to punish those responsible for attempted murder of Terri.

WE ARE PLEADING WITH YOU TO PROVIDE FURTHER PROTECTION FOR TERRI
SCHINDLER SCHIAVO TO BE STABILIZED, HYDRATED, AND GIVEN NUTRITION
WITHOUT THE INTERFERENCE OF MICHAEL SCHIAVO OR GEORGE FELOS OR ANY
DEATH ADVOCATES. RIGHT NOW MICHAEL AND FELOS ARE CAUSING HARM TO
TERRI AND AGAINST YOUR ORDERS. WE ALSO PLEAD THAT TERRI'S FAMILY
GETS TO BE WITH TERRI AT ALL TIMES THAT THEY POSSIBLY CAN BE WITH
HER WITHOUT INTERFERENCE FROM MICHAEL SCHIAVO OR GEORGE FELOS, ETC.
WE WILL NOT STOP UNTIL MICHAEL SCHIAVO AND GEORGE FELOS ARE
PERMANENTLY YANKED FOREVER OUT OF TERRI'S LIFE. WE WILL NOT STOP
PLEADING AND ACTING UNTIL JUSTICE IS SERVED.

DEMAND REHABILITATION FOR TERRI. IT IS HER RETAINED RIGHT!

The feeding tube is not "Extreme"! I know someone who had one installed due to a burned throat obtained during radiation treatment. The guy couldn't swallow, so the docs installed a feeding tube. Not a trivial thing, but not uncommon at all.

Have either of you researched the details of this case?

Or are you just going on what the media tells you?
