I want to congratulate Nebraska from the bottom of my heart for sending this RINO to the Senate.
Why is it everyone picks on Arlen Specter, but no one ever goes after this idiot?

Something has happened to Chuck Hagel in the last year.
I happen to think he wants some limelight and "me-tooing" Bush doesn't get him any attention.

Yes, what is Hagel's problem anyway?

Senator ItsOurTimeNow (R-FR) says Hagel should shut the h#ll up.

You violate Reagan's 11th Commandment, on what basis?
He gives reasons for his position, which is more than you do.

Time for Rove to pluck a young, solidly conservative up-and-comer to run against Hagel in the next primary. The state already has one Democrat Senator; it doesn't need Hagel too.

Hagel's ACU rating, 2002: 95. Lifetime: 84.
Arlen's ACU rating, 2002: 50. Lifetime: 42.
Granted, Hagel is wrong on this issue, but his looks to me like dissent from within from one of our own, while Arlen too often appears to be trying to be a Democrat while wearing the Republican cloth.
But as I have mentioned to you on the state board, Arlen would still be better than just about any Democrat; Zell Miller, for all the cheering he gets at times, had a lower 2002 ACU rating than Arlen (47) and his lifetime rating is barely higher (54).

Isn't Hagel one of the guys who is all for the illegal aliens?

John McCain(iac) talks like a d*ckhead from time to time also. Did you hear him the other day expousing the Kyoto Protocol? I could have fallen out of my chair when I heard him say that global warming was a fact. Is the air in the Senate building full of some kind of hallucinagenic gas or something? It seems as though they get goofier the longer they are in the Senate. Look at "Sheets" Byrd and Kennedy--a couple of real screwballs, also "Jiltin" Jim Jeffords. They really are a bunch of nutcases. A lot of 'em are so old and senile they fall asleep and drole all over themselves while the Senate is debating this or that issue, so they don't know what the hell's going on. The Senate is undoubtedly the worst part of government, maybe even worse than the State Dept., if that's possible.

We probably have given this president more flexibility, more latitude, more range, unquestioned, than any president since Franklin RooseveltBecause he's the first President since FDR that has had to respond to a direct attack on the United States ... sounds like he needs all the flexibility, latitude and range he can be given.

I want to congratulate Nebraska from the bottom of my heart for sending this RINO to the Senate. Hagel has been a disappointment. This is one Nebraska Republican who will be looking hard at the Libertarian candidate in 2004.
To: republicanwizard
Hagel's a McCain supporter...what do you expect?
To: republicanwizard
FYI, Chuck Hagel is running for President in 2008.
Kind like McCain, but with fewer principles and more obsessed with winning the approval of the NY Times.

Hagel says that President Bush has been given more power than any President since FDR. Did he ever stop to consider that's because we're a greater risk of an attack against the Homeland than at any time since WWII?
To: republicanwizard
So we have Lugar complaining that Bush is not in charge and we have Hagel complaining that Bush is too much in charge.
Ah, the RINOs in action.
