Gandhi was married at age 13 to a girl about his own age and at age 37 took a vow of sexual abstinence. In spite of this vow, he found a need to fondle prepubescent and early adolescent girls. He took such girls to bed with him to overcome, he said, his "shivering fits" in the night. His female companions, who came from his inner circle - all certified virgins or young brides - entered his bed naked in order to warm him with their bodies. Some of them also administered enemas to him. Thanks for the "facts".The third part was a lift from some third class literature.The first part was actually from "freedom at midnight" by lappiere.It was known that he slept with his niece(Sleep as in sleep and nothing else).He did not have any sexual encounters.The matter had raised a storm in the Indian Congress Party (like democratic party)at that time.All future remours started building around that debate.Gandhi wanted sexual abstinance and he went a little overboard to prove his point,but it would be naive to brand him as a "pervert".He is not a pervert,He was great in the true sense.How many men have acheived what he has with silence and voice.Remember that -had there been no Gandhi there would have been a different MalcolmX and Nelson Mandela and the world would not have been the same.So thank god that he sent Gandhi to earth.

Your original post said it was likely he would be Hindu or Christian - all who took issue with you did so based on the statistics appearing at the top of this post.

One more time - if you were going to name two religious groups the most likely would have been Hindu and muslim based on their respective proportions in the Indian population. Notice that there are about 6 times more muslims than Christians in India. He was much less likely to have been Christian than muslim, yet you picked Christian.

If you had only mentioned Hindu as most likely it would have been perfectly logical and all would have agreed with you but you flew in the face of all logic and added Christian. Either to slam Christians or to get attention or both.
