PINELLAS PARK, Fla. - The parents of a severely brain-damaged woman and others fighting to keep her alive stepped up the pressure on Gov. Jeb Bush to intervene in the case Thursday.
The feeding tube keeping Terri Schiavo alive was removed Wednesday, culminating a decade-long legal fight between her parents and her husband. Doctors say she will live as long as two weeks without it.

Until we know absolutely what Terri's desires for life are, then the state could be tresspassing on a " WOMANS RIGHT TO CHOOSE" what she has done with her body. I know that a smart attorney can tie this up.

Her brain is gone, she's as cognitive as a turnip. She'll never function again in society, and can never take care of herself. That the poor husband has waited for some resolution to this for 13 years, says a LOT about him...
But at some point, you have to let go.
So why do we keep hearing about this, from people who don't understand the reality of the situation...?

You are imposing your own views of the situation on the case. Not even his doctors make the claims you are making. What is so wrong about having and independent doctor look into it.
The husband likely put her in this condition. He is now obstructing justice. Do you think it's a good presidence to have on the books to allow a criminal to be in charge of the evidence. By the way, your 13 years thing is wrong. When he was in court he claimed he would take care of her. Later, ``he rememebered'' that she wanted to die. So at the very least it's perjury.
