PA Minister Raziq: Agreement Does Not Waive Right of Return Aaron Lerner Date: 13 October 2003
Israel Radio reported this morning that Palestinian Minister of Prisoners' Affairs, Hisham Abdel Raziq stated that the unsigned draft understanding the Israeli left has developed with the Palestinians does not waive the Palestinian right of return of refugees to within the Green Line.
Earlier in the morning PLC Member Qadura Fares, who participated in the meetings that drafted the understanding repeatedly refused to say in a live interview broadcast this morning on Israel Radio that the Palestinians had agreed to forego the right of return. He only would say that "we have a solution".
Raziq explained that the understanding does provide for the return of refugees to within the Green Line but that it would be only one of the options available to the refugees and their return would be with Israel's agreement.
The beauty of the proposal from the standpoint of the Palestinians is that it provides for a situation under which after Israel has already pulled back to borders that cannot be defended pressure to facilitate the right of return would be brought to unprecedented heights by asking each refugee to declare his desire to return.
The failure of Israel to meet Palestinian demands could then be used to excuse the return to violence so that the Palestinians can continue with the program for the destruction of Israel in stages with the advantage that they are a sovereign state fighting Israel from the Green Line.
PLC Member Fares Declines To Say Agreement Waives Right of Return
Aaron Lerner Date: 13 October 2003
While members of the Israeli Left claimed that the unsigned draft understanding they have developed with the Palestinians includes a provision that Palestinian refugees will not return to within the Green Line, PLC Member Qadura Fares, who participated in the meetings that drafted the understanding repeatedly refused to say in a live interview broadcast this morning on Israel Radio that the Palestinians had agreed to forego the right of return. He only would say that "we have a solution".
Those involved in the "understanding", that apparently is based on the assertion that this time the Arabs will honor their agreements and thus Israel can base its national security on Arab promises, told Israel Radio this morning that the text of the understanding, when it is signed (slated for around the time of the anniversary of the assassination of PM Rabin), will be distributed to every Israeli and Palestinian home.
So far no mainstream Israeli reporter has asked where the funding is coming for this project. Until now Mr. Beilin's operation has been bankrolled by foreign sources.

Can the Israeli Left be as stupid as some of our leftist groups under the Dem and Green umbrellas? It sure looks like it. The issue of survival is remote for PETA and "Don't-drill-Alaska" constituencies; giving the Palestinians the 1967 borders and a plausible claim to "right of return" is downright suicidal in the immediate short term.
It's a good thing these idiots are only "useful idiots," to use Lenin's term, and don't have any real power.

Who, within Israel, can support the brain dead Peace Party? Are they excited about the possibility that there will be hoardes of Palestinians telling them to move out of their homes so the "rightful" owners can occupy them?
I like the fence idea, and the isolation of the territories. They need to move on that more forcefully.

PA: We don't give up the right of return.
Translation: We'll give you a peace agreement if we can still destroy Israel after we sign it by flooding millions of Arabs into the former Jewish state.
Thanks, Yossi, but no thanks. You've gone from Justice Minister to national embarrassment.

No, that is the one thing they do not agree to. Even Meretz leader Yossi Sarid has called Palestinian "right of return" national suicide.
The far left in Israel is guilty of a dangerous self-delusion. Some Palestinian who holds no official position says they will give up "right of return" and then his words will hold no weight. Even if the Palestinians signed such a document they would not honor it. Look how well they honored Oslo, where Yasser Arafat, in writing, renounced violence.

Those receiving the stuff in the mail would never know this, and yet again, will support something that is fake and a bunch of propaganda coming from Arab terrorists. Just like Oslo. No one paid attention to what the Arabs said before and after they signed the "agreement." And Israel paid and continues to pay with blood for this mistake. The roadmap is the same thing as well.

Our job is to make sure that we do in Hebrew what we are doing here in English, and make sure that both Americans and Israelis understand what is really going on.
