This is IMO, one the 2 best shots of a GOP candidate winning a statewide seat this year(other being sec of state). He has several factors in his favor.
Location - Wayne County. He's from the most populous county in the state. He's also active in Knollenberg's campaign and has ties to Oakland as well. West Michigan is going to vote for him anyway.
Prosecutor not politician. He is(or was) the head of the homicide division of the Wayne County prosecutor's office(and he was there way before Duggan).
Personable. Many times, he's one of the last people to leave an event. If you are at a political event where he is at, you probably have met Mike. He's usually at the door talking to the voters.
If you are in SE Michigan, please make it there. Not only is the AG an important position, but it's often a springboard to higher political office. Mike is solidly conservative and worth our support.
