I’m in Ryan’s Home State of Wisconsin and he was/is/and will always be an establishment HACK! And when I HAD to vote for Romney, I was actually voting for Ryan - which pained me not quite as much at the time. He was (then) the spoonful of sugar, helping the Romney Kool Aid go down. Blech!
I have friends that are deeply involved in Wisconsin Politics and they used to trumpet and praise Ryan all day long. Lots of pictures of them all glad-handing and hugging on FB, Twitter, etc. Even our local radio ConservaBabe figured him out early on and warned us off of him.
And now? Those same Super Fans of Ryan’s? Crickets! Many, MANY eyes have been opened to what a sham he was/is/will remain to be. Another RINO Enemy of America...unless it lines HIS pockets. (And Ryan has a boatload of money - he married VERY well!)
Just put a ‘D’ behind your name and be done with it!
Compromised. I have long held the belief that when a new Senator or Congressman arrives in DC that a "handler" is sent to "welcome" him to town. By bribe, blackmail or threat, these hapless (or corrupt) newbs succumb to the being compromised.
Ryan was a crowning achievement for the handlers.
