No governor has any authority to quarantine people traveling from another state. Cumdrum needs to be hit with a big lawsuit for interfering in interstate commerce.
If Cuomo can put the Floridians in New York nursing homes and collect Federal funds that would fulfill his source of money. He has already collected millions and killed thousands.
How about this for the cities? If you want to set up business, you have to provide sufficient housing for your workers within three blocks of your offices. If that means renting floors of a building and converting them to residential, so be it.
There is also the problem of requiring things like grocery stores and pharmacies. Either within short walking distance, or doing delivery.
DeSantis’ reply was good.
He could go a step further and issue a travel advisory to Floridians that New York is not a safe destination. For many reasons other than Covid-19. :)
Hope Father's Day was good for you...
Hard to imagine Floridians, real Floridians not New Yorkers, wanting to visit the disgusting sewer that is New York. Guy is so ugly and egotistical.
I am announcing with @GovMurphy and @GovNedLamont a joint travel advisory. All individuals traveling from states with significant community spread of COVID into NY, NJ, or CT must quarantine for 14 days.
This travel advisory is effective midnight tonight.— Andrew Cuomo (@NYGovCuomo) June 24, 2020
No one wants to go to your crime infested NYC, loser!
Well, yes. But some of us love upstate and the north country.
Beautiful country.
Too bad they/y’all cannot override the fools in the city :-(
Imagine how (much more) wonderful the state would be.
We can deram. :-)
Exactly.
They just did it...
