AOC is an example of having book smarts and street smarts...However, she doesn't really have all that much of either. You can tell by the way she exudes a kind of translucent store-bought confidence and self-esteem, but it ends up being obvious that her lack of experience and immature expectations are just underneath. When I think about 60 being the new 40 (years old), I have to wonder if 35 isn't the new 15. For verification of this theory, all I have to do is watch and listen to AOC and others in her age group who share the same ideology. If they were in tune with reality, they'd have inferiority complexes and for good reason. To them, having a good long look in the mirror is strictly 2-dimensional and that's all they think it takes.

“AOC is an example of having book smarts and street smarts...However, she doesn’t really have all that much of either.”
Relative level of acquired smarts aside, I think her more ignent than stupid. That said, and ignorance being correctable it appears that she IS stuck with stupid. Poor US!
Good observation that if 60-years old is the new 40-years, is Ocasio of some lesser maturity. Come her next birthday, she will be 30-years of age. A twenty year age differential thus indicates her having the maturity of a 10-year old. Her repertoire of histrionics aside, I eagerly await her just throwing a good old-fashioned hissy fit...then step’n in it.
