On Sunday, former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz told 60 Minutes’ Scott Pelley that he is seriously considering a run for president in 2020.
Not everyone was pleased.
Shortly after he took to the stage for a talk at a Barnes & Noble in Manhattan on Monday, Schultz was heckled.
“I am seriously considering running for president as a centrist independent,” Schultz said during the discussion, echoing his remarks on 60 Minutes. “And I wanted to clarify the word independent, which I view merely as a designation on the ballot.”...

Maybe the DNC should call for all democrats to boycott Starbucks. That’ll teach him to betray them.

Ironically, many of those protesting Schultz probably supported Bernie and then voted for Jill Stein to siphon off votes from Hillary. I’m curious who the protesters would support against Trump.
He should run!
If you went and listed out twenty of his positions...I would suggest that only five would appeal to a conservative, and the rest mostly toward centralists or liberals. He wants more gun-control. He says he wants immigration control, but never defines how it’d change. He wants the deficit lessened but never says how it’d be accomplished. He’s against any corporate tax cuts.
