We’ve seen it before: a highly-recognized political name coming out early to kick off a presidential bid, banking that the candidate’s big fundraising chops and a carefully assembled campaign apparatus will scare away potential opponents, lock down front-runner status, and ultimately secure the nomination.
But the last time, when that candidate was a Republican named Jeb Bush, it didn’t turn out so well.
Elizabeth Warren’s nearly half-decade flirtation with the presidency has finally produced a presidential exploratory committee. She used to be the one potential Democratic challenger that Hillary Clinton was worried about, last time around.
Now, with the energy of the party having long shifted to other potential 2020 Democratic darlings — from former Vice President Joe Biden to Sen. Kamala Harris to Rep. Beto O’Rourke —Warren will need a lot more than cash and a good ground game to keep from getting Jebbed.

Lizzy Warren is a lot of things, but Low Energy she ain’t.
Maybe she’s like Jeb! as one to make many unforced errors.
That Lie Detector Test was not a good idea for her.
Sort of like Jeb’s nicey-nice ideas about illegal immigration.
Being a woman, she can just wear heels instead of standing on the tips of her toes.
Wait - - I also said the country would never put a non citizen, Jeremiah Wright acolyte from Chicago via Mombasa in the Oval Office as well
More than four paragraphs and no mention of her abuse of affirmative action and fake race.

Or not. Atkins isn't a big fan of the president's.

She’s just in the game to prove ‘worth’ to be VP or Secretary of State. Go through the primary system. She might be able to take Mass, Conn, and NH, beyond that she just won’t accumulate national attention.

I actually think she might’ve won it all last time around, she almost certainly would’ve won the Democratic nomination. This time I think she’s yesterday’s news though . . .
Spastic anger/ energy tends to burn itself out rather quickly, as I expect to see with a certain Alexandra Occasio.
Right now, Alex is like a Stormy Daniels, but without the headlights. I think Stormy is back to stripping at Gentlemen’s Clubs on the upper floors of some abandoned Shopping Malls.
