Now that the Court may shift against them they may need to undermine that. Sothey can say, ineffect, the current Court lacks the stature to challenge or reverse the earlier.

Leahy never made any kind of issue out of Kennedy’s criminal behavior, yet is condemning Judge Kavanaugh with no evidence whatsoever. Leahy has a very difficult time staying sober long enough to utter a complete sentence according to his reputation among his peers.
