Well...lotsa people call asking for dollars....who knows if they are legit...but, like you, we give directly to CANDIDATES!

Liberals are scammers, liars and most of the sexual abusers and the majority of prison inmates.

You could always contact the YR [through the GOP committeeman and let the know someone was soliciting in the group’s name and you suspect the solicitor was a scammer.]
I usually just tell phone solicitors to send snail mail so I can see who they want the check written to... legit ones will do that.

My house phone is through Comcast - and I blocked the allowed number of callers on Comcast, filled my Panasonic phone block (250 numbers) and have since signed with nomorerobo through Comcast (free with Comcast). It blocks all unidentified numbers and seems to be working quite well.
And I have an unlisted number - cannot imagine what it would be like with a published number.
