In less than a month, Alabama voters will decide whether to send to the United States Senate a man accused of abusing and romantically pursuing teenage girls.
If Roy Moore wins, it will mean his constituents either dont believe or dont care about the woman who says Moore assaulted her when she was 16, or the woman who says Moore kissed and touched her when she was 14, or the women who say Moore kept approaching them at the mall when they were teenagers. And a Moore victory will set the standard that someone who is the subject of multiple reports of abusive behavior toward minors can represent his state in the Senate. Unless the Republican Party finds some way around the election in December, it will be a referendum on whether the safety of girls and women matters to voters in one of the most conservative states in the country.
But Democrats have a referendum on their hands too. Though the cases are different, the way Democrats respond to reports of unwanted touching and advances by Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) and Rep. John Conyers (D-MI), is just as important as how Republicans respond to Moore....

Unless Franken perjured himself, then there is no valid comparison between him and Clinton.
The mall story has been debunked. Repeating a lie doesn’t make it truer.
Yes, because unfounded allegations from 40 years ago really count considering one of the accusers is actively working for Moores opponent and one faked a yearbook entry. Only allegations.
There is documented proof Conyers paid someone off to the tune of $27k and there is photographic evidence in Stuart Smalleys case.
The two are nothing alike.
It will be a referendum on Dem(on)crat liars and on Dem(on)crat politicians who will do **anything** to get power.
The progressive Dem(on)crats would be building concentration camps for us if the could. They just can't get away with it (yet).
Congress is a cesspool.
Preditctions:
Al Franken will not resign.
Al Franken will be reelected.
Why?
He is a liberal democrat who hates all things republican, except when it involves kissing and groping.
He will also support Hillary in 2020.
In the one case, the allegations are not only credible, there is photographic proof.
In the other case, not a single allegation is credible.
For instance, how many women would remember 40 years later that some guy tried to “pick them up” in a mall? And not only remember that, but remember the guy’s appearance so accurately that they recognize him after he has aged for 40 years?
And forged yearbook signatures only add evidence to the conclusion that the allegations against Moore are completely fabricated.
the woman who says Moore assaulted her when she was 16, or the woman who says Moore kissed and touched her when she was 14, or the women who say Moore kept approaching them at the mall when they were teenagers.
NONE of it is credible in any sense of the word and all of it has been shown to be LIES!
Admittedly I would vote for Moore no matter what. As the president said, anybody would be preferable to a liberal Democrat. It’s a matter of national survival.
Democrat voters only care about the agenda...They voted for a woman killer(Kennedy),voted for a rapist(Clinton)....They would rather vote for democrats who murder or rape women, then vote for a republican...
I don’t know what the age of consent is, or was, in Alabama. But you can bet that if Moore were a Democrat with a lock on the election the News Media would be hitting us over the head with that ‘fact’. Instead, I have yet to hear of any News outlet reporting it.
No evidence at all against Roy Moore has stood up to even the slightest scrutiny.
Moore *was* a democrat when this stuff allegedly happened.
They will fail because in a democrats mind being liberal grants one immunity.
But people who only get their news from the MSM won’t know it’s lies...
hopefully their friends enlighten them.
They “claim” it’s 16. I have also heard it was 14... I have even heard that she lied about her age and was older than 14 at the time.
I have seen nothing to support all or any of the claims.
Alabama doesnt believe the accusations, doesnt believe the media, and doesnt believe the establishment gop. Thats all there is.. accusations. Anyone can accuse. And with the activist media not checking it out (they want it to be true so they can install their candidate) it makes sense to wait and see.
If the accusations were proven, hed be run out of town bigly.
But the press and the establishment have a history of lying to keep non-establishment candidates from winning. Alabama is smart to wait and see.
