no, he’s seriously (and accurately) portraying Trump supporters. He’s portraying them saying the exact same things we say here, and he is not being patronizing. In fact, if you think carefully about his depictions, Trump supporters come across as broadly knowledgeable about current, recent, and past politics.
quite frankly i see almost none of that from the leftist posts at WaPo and other similar venues - the VAST majority of leftist posts are never anything more than juvenile name-calling, yet another reason i don’t give WaPo any clicks. It does make me wonder though about what the honchos and “journalists” at WaPo must think about their readership and the quality of the left in general - maybe those juvenile posts are what they themselves REALLY think about Trump ...
