Hillary Clinton said Saturday that some women are "publicly disrespecting themselves" in their support of President Trump.
"When I see women doing that, I think why are they publicly disrespecting themselves? Why are they opening the door to have someone say that about them in their workplace? In a community setting? Do they not see the connection there?" Clinton told MSNBC's Joy Reid on "AM Joy."
Clinton made the comments when asked about pro-Trump women who wear profane t-shirts "that used the b-word, the c-word about you."
"And I think that's one of the problems with sexism. We had such a public and still an ongoing movement to expand civil rights. Again, I'm proud of the progress, but we still have a lot of problems we have to confront," she continued.
She also said it was "troubling" when people chanted "lock her up" about Clinton at some of Trump's raucous campaign rallies.
"It was deeply troubling on several levels. And I try to unpack this, because first of all it's not pleasant to be called names and to be subjected to the kind of insults that come across the online media all the time, which we see when women express an opinion," Clinton said
"So on a personal level, it was both distressing, but also somewhat problematic because it's one thing for people individually to express those views, but for a candidate running for president of the United States to give permission to those views being put out into the public arena, in fact to encourage it and carry it on, to make it a center piece of his convention, which should be a time of incredible excitement to have somebody nominated for president and instead was dystopian and negative and very pointed against me," she continued.
Clinton is currently in the process of promoting her new book "What Happened," which documents her experience during the 2016 presidential campaign.
Despite the campaign being over, the chants of "lock her up" have not ended at Trump events. The crowd chanted "lock her up" on Friday during Trump's speech at a rally for Alabama Senate candidate Luther Strange (R-Ala.).
Trump responded to the crowd, saying they should talk to Attorney General Jeff Sessions about that.
Oh, you mean women like Juanita Broadwick, Genifer Flowers, Paula Jones, and Monica Lewinsky, Mrs. Clinton?
Her husbands a rapist. Does she have dementia??
Didn’t say any of that at Trump rallies.
“She also said it was “troubling” when people chanted “lock her up” about Clinton at some of Trump’s raucous campaign rallies.”
I must really be on her shit list - I disrespected myself at two separate Trump rallies in Tampa.
Liberal feminism: It’s not about freedom. It’s about doing what we tell you or you’re a Nazi.
Says the ‘woman’ who stood silent as her party and late night chat show hosts called Sarah Palin a c****, b****, w****, and told rape joke about Sarah and her daughter.
Claiming that it’s disrespectful to themselves not to vote identity politics is absurd. The women who chose not to vote for Hillary because of her corruption showed a great deal of respect for themselves, and that respect was justified.
Gee—Is there anything that Hilliary Clinton doesn’t know?
Or won’t comment on?
Margaret Sanger had more in common with the KKK and Nazi eugenics than the typical Republican voter.
Compared to the vagina hat wearing loons...yeah, okay Hill.
I was going to post a picture of the loons but yahoo said I’d have to shut off my safe search. Gee, I wonder why? There’s some self disrespect for ya.
Didn’t somebody once call her a ‘nasty woman’?
They understated.
I wonder how she felt about the pussy hats and vagina costumes at the disgusting woman’s march.
;.
Margaret Sanger, heroine of the Left, was in fact a white supremacist. Her own statements attest to it. The KKK was started by Democrats, who supported slavery and opposed abolition, then supported segregation, and opposed the civil rights movement. Etc. But liberals don’t learn from history because they just change it to flatter themselves, not educate themselves.
Clinton voter.
She didn’t use the word “some”, theHill did that for her. She said when she sees women supporting Trump. She is calling them an uncle-something I guess.
...that’s right Hilda, blame others for the stumbling, lying, deceitful campaign YOU organized....any more emails Hilda?

If Democrats want to take a stand against the flag & national anthem & what they stand for, in a way they’re being true to their history

From my perspective, a lot of men, that voted for Hillery, disrespected themselves, too. But then again it might be that a lot of them didn’t self identify as Male.
