‘Hillary’s Not Very Bright’: Steve Bannon Says President Trump Is Smarter Than Ex-Secretary of State
People Magazine Politics ^ | September 11, 2017 | Maria Pasquini

In his first television interview since leaving the White House, President Donald Trump‘s former chief strategist Steve Bannon appeared on Sunday’s 60 Minutes, where he asserted that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is “not very bright.”

“Everybody says she’s so smart, so much smarter than Donald Trump,” Bannon said of Trump’s 2016 presidential rival. “She doesn’t really have a grasp. She doesn’t have a grasp on what’s important and what’s not. And that’s what’s essential in a leader.”

“Donald Trump has a grasp on what’s important and what’s marginalia,” Bannon, 63, added.

For example, Bannon pointed to Clinton’s campaign-season criticism of Breitbart News, the far-right news website Bannon co-founded and once described as a platform for the so-called “alt-right.” Bannon, who returned to the website as its executive chairman after he was fired by Trump last month, said Clinton’s charge that the website supported white supremacists “landed flat” because it was “morally wrong” and “totally irrelevant."

Bannon also faulted Clinton for what he said was her failure to understand the importance of the “populist economic nationalist movement.”

“Economic nationalism is what this country was built on. The American system, right? We go back to that. We look after our own. We look after our citizens. We look after our manufacturing bases and guess what? This country’s gonna be greater, more united, more powerful than it’s ever been,” Bannon said.....

It takes brains to be a businessman; it just takes gall to be a thief.

“returned to the website as its executive chairman after he was fired by Trump last month”

That is BS right there.

Shrillary is only able to repeat platitudes and trite rants which are spoon fed to her by her puppet masters like Sidney Blumenthal. She is not capable of independent thinking and judgment. She always sounds like a parody of Libtard cliches.

Very true.

This is what the liberals don’t understand because they are also dumb. It’s an actual cultivated dumbness in that many lunatic lefties are not intelligent.

But the actually cultivate illogical and irrational thought in themselves and what become essentially a hive.

Bannon was not fired... he resigned in order to support the Trump agenda from outside the Trunp administration and outside the beltway.

Hell yes.
Trump is plenty smart.
Hillary is mega plenty dumb.
Of course, she makes up for it by being obnoxious and loathsome.

Intelligence can mean so many different things that it's hard to say just how smart people (especially people we don't know) really are.

But Hillary Clinton is complacent. She thinks she knows things that she doesn't really know and that may not really be true.

She tends to leave things half-done, because doesn't have the thoroughness and follow-through to see a job through to the end.

I hope Trump does.

Yep. Look at how he spoke of General Kelly in the 60 minutes interview with respect and brought him up numerous times. Didn’t sense any tension. Reince on the other hand...

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

In the Liberal mind(I use that term loosely), Bannon should be running around with his head down and cursing out PDT at every opportunity.

When the Clintoons had a ‘problem’ either ‘evidence’ of wrong doing and subsequent jail time for the LUCKY ones, some of the more ‘interesting’ end up committing suicide, wrap themselves in a rug and drive to a (sort of) remote location. (IN THAT ORDER)

When Hillary was in college a friend asked her what she wanted to do when she graduated. She said she wanted to marry a senator.

When she was first lady of Arkansas she founded a summer program for the cream of Arkansas high school students. It featured demented teaching which included immorality and witchcraft. One student committed suicide as a result.

When she was first lady of the United States she got herself in a position where she acted as president and ruled the roost. When Bill complained about not having any time to relax she made sure he had a couple hours in the afternoon all to himself. And in walks Monica.

When she was senator from New York she didn't do much memorable legislation. She spent most of her time gearing up for her first failed run for president.

When she was Secretary of State she moved between messing up the State Department and filling up the coffers of her Clinton Foundation for her eventual failed run as president. Not to mention purposely allowing for the murder of our guys at Benghazi. And when she left somehow 6 billion dollars was missing from the State Department without one lamenews media wondering where it all went.

Not only is she stupid, she is incompetent and she is evil.

She has proven herself to be a first-class loser.

“She doesn’t have a grasp on what’s important and what’s not.”

that actually was a consistent theme throughout the book “Shattered” which purported to be an insider view of everything that went wrong for Hillary’s campaign.

Hillary concentrated on minutia she could understand but was NEVER able to articulate an overarching vision to her campaign staff, speech writers, or the electorate. “Shattered” admitted that Donald Trump, of course, brilliantly and consistently stated his visions on the various major issues, summed up as “Make America Great Again”.

Now tell me who the REALLY smart one was?

My guess is she is slightly above average but among the movers and shakers of America, she probably is in the bottom 10%.

Hillary is very bright in the ways of lying and corruption. A master in being unable to recall, don’t remember, not my recollection, and when to invoke that defense.
Hillary was masterful in crafting her Bengazi statement: “what difference, at this point, does it make”. A convoluted statement, difficult for the press to edit. Could have been, “ (at this point) (Edit) “ What difference does it make” ; or, “What difference does it make (edit) (”at this point”). A supposed emotional response, yet well thought out.

Yet Hillary remains an ample empty pantsuit, a liar, a do nothing politician and spouse, a loser and a crook that should be jailed with her husband and daughter for tax fraud.

There is no comparison in terms of the intellect and stamina required to succeed in business as opposed to the politics.

The vast majority of our top businessmen would be successful in politics. However I’d say 99.9% of politicians would fail in business.

Anyone can succeed in politics if they are willing and able to betray the people and have the bravado to pull it off with a smile. It doesn’t take much intelligence, work ethic or creativity to do.

No,that's not true. She is,in fact, very,*very* intelligent. Her intelligence is part of what makes her so dangerous. There are times when amorality can be mistaken for stupidity and that's exactly what the deal is with ILLary.
