Former Trump campaign staffers to launch new organization in NH

CONCORD, N.H. — Granite Staters got a first look on CloseUp at a new organization coming to New Hampshire headed by one of the data masterminds of the Trump campaign.

"New Hampshire's going to be, probably, the state we advance to next," Matt Braynard, Executive Director of Look Ahead America, said. "We've identified maybe 15,000 inactive voters who we would consider disaffected, patriotic Americans. And potentially 100,000 or more unregistered adults we're going to reach out to."

Braynard and the team he hires in New Hampshire will identify and target Granite Staters through psychometrics, using commercially available data to identify people who think alike.

"Normally it gets applied to likely voter universes for purposes of persuasion," Braynard said. "We're applying to to identify patriotic Americans who've become disaffected and cynical, so we can engage them on issues relevant to them, get them registered, get them educated and turn them out to vote."

In November 2016, Donald Trump almost won in New Hampshire by drawing people to the polls who don't normally cast ballots.

"Donald Trump's vote in New Hampshire looked different from Mitt Romney's, looked different from John McCain's, in part because of those more rural areas," said Dr. Dante Scala, political science professor at University of New Hampshire. "For a lot of the last decade, rural New Hampshire was trending Democratic. But Donald Trump almost won New Hampshire because he was able to turn the tide."

Look Ahead America said it won't be coordinating with the president but for Democrats that's not even the biggest concern.

Braynard sees this outreach as an antidote to extremism but Democrats worry he won't weed out those who advocate hate.

"The organizing and activating of these extremists, these white supremacists, really could have a detrimental effect on the entire culture of New Hampshire," New Hampshire Democratic Party Chairman Ray Buckley said.

Huck Montgomery, a consultant who works on voter issues, questions what Look Ahead America will eventually do with its data.

"The idea of using psychometrics to profile someone on a patriotism scale and then using that, for whatever purposes, is alarming," Montgomery said.

Braynard said Look Ahead America will also be focusing on voter fraud issues. He said the plan is to eventually have field officers, employees and volunteers along with observers at the polls.

Democrats now tying Patriotism to White Supremacy. Got it. If you’re a Patriotic disaffected voter who’s no longer politically active then you’re really a latent white supremacist.

This is very good.

The thing is, Trump needs to live up to his campaign promises from LAST campaign, to build the wall, and to correct our massive trade imbalance.

These things haven’t happened yet. They need to.

Soon.

Pretty much all they have left. They’ll pay some legitimate supremacists to infiltrate our orgs, and then ‘out’ them - thus proving that ANY attempt by conservatives to organize voters is basically being done by Hate Groups.

We might as well be ready for it.

Easy enough to do - say, "No Democrats allowed". That will take care of 98.74% of their hate problem....

Can this database be shared...

You see their is a move afoot to make NH a Right to Work State. Having access to these like mind voters if it makes it to a ballot, remind these folks of their voices to contact their legislators is a big deal IMHO.

Also, NH finally got rid of "domicile" voting and all the m@$$holes screwing w/ NH's elections, This will only add to "R" Margins. This is important aka the Senate, as Ayotte ( not a great candidate ) lost Maggie Hassan but not a lot of votes..

Tangent to this, another Data-Wonk on Lou Dobbs a while back said that 70% (up from 20% during Obama's 2 runs ) of all voting decisions were made this cycle via social media influence. IMHO the days of going door to door and ground game are darn near over, you can see that happening in the next couple of cycles.

A story, FWIW.

When I was driving to vote in November, a car with Massachusetts plates pulled into a parking lot across the street, and six kids with battle jackets (as if!) and long hair, wearing backpacks, piled out and crossed the street to the voting place.

As soon as I parked and went in to vote, I told the police officer in charge (a friend and patriot) what I had seen, we looked in the lines and didn’t see them. He informed the poll watchers, I voted and left, and I don’t know what happened after that.

It is so easy for people from MA to attend our polling places. We have voter ID, but the Senate race in November was decided by <1000 votes, and Trump lost by <3000 votes out of 750 000.

I don’t know what happened to my targets after they went into the building, but we need better security outside the room.

Not just voting JM, they send their volunteers up to NH to get out very vote. They did it to one on buds near Portsmouth, sitting out in front of his house in a car, they finally approached his house to talk to his wife, he doesn’t care how she votes, but with the MA place he told them to get the phuch out....
