Fox News Channel's Tucker Carlson and Charles Krauthammer respond to President Trump's West Virginia rally.
KRAUTHAMMER: Here's a guy, his numbers are down in the 30s, he's got reports of a grand jury, he's got the walls closing in on him in Washington. He goes out into the country and says, these are my people, these are real people, forget about the numbers, forget about the chatter in Washington, forget about the stories about Russia... But [Trump] represents a huge constituency of tremendous support and enthusiasm.
Admittedly, this is one state where he won his biggest victory of all, but there are other states. His address was to the Midwest, the place where he won the election.
He wasn't so specific on policy, but he said: "I'm bringing you guys back! I'm the only one who listened, you were abandoned."
That's his appeal, that is how he won the election. He's reminding the elites that that appeal is still there.
Tucker Carlson asks Krauthammer about the possibility that Trump could be removed from office, wondering: "If that were to happen, some of these voters might conclude they're not really allowed to pick their own president?"
CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER: That is why I worry we are headed into dangerous and choppy Constitutional waters. We know what the Democrats want to do; get control of the House and on day one start impeachment.
I happen to think; as you know I opposed the Trump candidacy. I don't think he is very well fit for the presidency. But fitness is not a reason for impeachment, and removal.....

Why is he even talking about removing Trump from office?
Numbers down in the 30’s? Which numbers?
Trump only needed numbers in the 40’s to get elected. Plus the economy is booming, he is not starting new wars, etc.
Krauthammer is an idiot.
He is scared...
He is talking like he lives in a different world.. and yes, I know they do... it’s depressing to think the dems would get control of the house... if they did.. does he know what the world would look like in the United States?
Taxes up, no healthcare for the people, regulations back in effect, everything would be set for the dems to win everything... and they only know how to destroy... but that’s ok with them.. as long as the destruction does not touch them.
If the dems ever did get that control, it would be a sign God had given up on our Republic! This bunch in there now are ruthless.. ugly and power hungry!

Whereas removing the Kraut would be no big deal... and actually welcome.
It would only be a bad thing in the sense that we’re no longer a democracy. But ironically, Democrats are no fans of democracy. They’ve long wanted some sort of dictatorship with a benevolent dictator like Hillary Clinton to tell everyone what’s good for them and what’s not.
The time is coming.....just saying. They refused to listen then,they won’t listen now.....
We elect conservatives. We get RINOs.
A problem I'm not sure anyone in the media has mentioned is that anti-Trump rhetoric is destroying what the US is supposed to stand for. We've always strived to set the example and insist on fair elections, with both sides accepting the results and a peaceful transfer of power. How do we seriously go to other countries and demand that anymore?
No one cares what you think. If they think they can continue to bully us and take away our elected leader, ignore the constitution, then the time will be at hand. There will be more than trash in the streets afterward.
I know our country has meddled in other elections repeatedly over the decades but regime change here by the elite is unacceptable.

Their statements should be reported to the secret service.
I suspect that Fox tells its correspondents that they must use the network's approved (corrupt) polling numbers. Even Hannity uses them. It's cringeworthy to watch.
I wonder how many would really resist? Seems most are happy in their recliners watching their Direct TV in HD.
