You on right on...but, the 60 vote margin stops a bill from getting to a final vote. But....to be honest, with what ails the US Congress is much more critical then a 60 vote rule. I could list them all herein, but...at the end of the day, I believe the way to correct our failed Congress is to enact “TERM LIMITS”....12 years for Senators & 8 years for House member. Simple...1-2-3.
