Ouch. That’s got to make reasoning super difficult.

Along similar lines, I have heard some Americans criticize America. These critics voted Democrat. Criticisms:
America had slaves.
We mistreated the Indians.
The KKK.
We dropped the atomic bomb on Nagasaki and Hiroshima.
The Vietnam war.
In each case, the dominant party was the Democratic party!
