In politics, all victories are temporary. While a Handel win is certainly better than a loss, it is too early to predict the results in 2018.
Political victories even more temporary when you have a GOP that promises change duriing the campaign and delivers more status quo and spending once they are in office. Throw in a cyclical recession, amplified by some bad Keynsian policy and dems are back in power.
